That Doesn't Make Me A Sissy. Does It?

If you have to ask the question, does it really need an answer?

So I had a couple ideas in my head about a new cap. First, I was thinking of making a 'two sissy' cap and having it be for both Jennifer and Petra. I can make a cap that either enjoys just by writing it for myself, and then changing the names out. I was also contemplating a Mardi Gras theme.. you know.. beads? Show your tits? That holiday has TG written all over it.

But when I went looking for images, I saw this one. The cropping, the lighting, the expression, the pose... it all screamed to be capped. And really, that shouldn't come as a surprise... I had seen an image from this set before. Way back in July of 2011 another image from this series had inspired me to write the cap that eventually became "Anticipation/Satisfaction". I never actually used the image that inspired me, but it stayed with me.

Just like then, I saws this image and the story just came to mind. Although a little differently. This is another variation on 'the slipperly slope'. No one step seemed wrong when compared to what he had already done. So putting it into a full stream of thought made sense.

When designing this cap I was kind of stuck with the text. Sure I coulc add a phrase or two in, and maybe take one or two out... but I really needed this to march forward step by step. I didn't have the luxury of taking any step out, otherwise the 'next' step would seem to go little far. My first thought was to design it kind of like "Deep Down Desires", in that the text would sit within the borders of the image. And if I had half of the text, or the image wasn't cropped in so much (I dind't crop it at all... that's how I found it online), then that might have worked. But there was just to much text.

I was just about to save the cap with my normal design when I just tilted my head a bit. Boom. The image looked SO much better with that little 'Caitlyn' tilt. Plus doing that gave me a lot more space to make the title a little more interesting.

The Debt

How would you repay a debt?

So I was watching Super 8 this afternoon. If you've seen the movie, then you know where this idea came from. If you haven't watched it.... well hey go rent it! Its a pretty good movie and worth the few bucks. Anyway, I had the idea of a guy trying to help his friend deal with a chemical accident that left him a woman. Only at the end would I let it out that it should have been the friend that got changed.

But writing it out, I added something new to the story. The idea of someone fighting so hard to keep their mind... their very identity intact. I'm not sure if its something I've covered here, or if it was on another blog or even over at the Haven, but its something that I feel fairly strongly about. The idea that after a transformation you forget your previous life, to me feels like a death. Give me a female body, make me do depraved sexual acts, even make me compelled to do those acts... but once you change me, then I am turned off.

I can think of only one cap made for me where someone didn't follow that. And that's a cap that Steffie made for me called "Puppet". That cap was dark in the extreme, and I think it needed that. It was a punishment, and to me that made it the worst punishment of all. Other people have made me caps that went into the 'character death' direction, but I could always work it out in my head that 'Calvin' was still under there... still struggling at what he had become and what he was doing.

So what was supposed to be four short text boxes, became two very long text boxes. I had to do quite a bit of editing, but it was mostly repetitive phrases. I blanch a little at taking those out, as I felt they helped convey just how frustrated and scared 'Caitlyn' is. But in the end I think that feeling still comes across.

Oh, and a word about the design. I normally try to take the background color for my caps from within the image. I know that there is only a tiny bit of green in the first panel, and none in the second. But when I first designed this I used a tan/brown color scheme. But when I was getting close to done, I realized that my previous cap had the same basic colors. As I talked a bit in "Morning Stretches Are About Trust" about it, I won't cover the same ground. Just let me say that I don't want to use the same color scheme twice in a row. As tan/brown was out, I was really open to any other color. I picked green because its a color I don't feel I use often enough. I think it worked, but you let me know.... would this have been better with a tan/brown color scheme instead?

Morning Stretches Are About Trust

I'ts so hard to build up trust!

When I was making "True Identity" I ran across this series of photos. And ideas just flew through my head. Sadly, none of them would have worked for the game Angel set up, as I needed two girls. But I kept the series up in my browsers, so that I would be reminded of it when I finished up with that cap. Well when I did finish up with True Identity, I was a little stuck. I was in between being in the mood to cap more, and being in the mood to just veg out. Vegging out won.

But when I returned to the computer, these images were there to greet me. And even though I had already looked at them, they kept inspiring story/cap ideas.

I thought about a guy who owns a ballet company and his diva dancer quits before the big show. Having no alternative he uses a gypsy (and I had a whole back story to the gypsy.. she lived in the theater, and had done so for dozens of years, and had helped make all the ballerina diva's dance perfectly) to change him into the body of his former diva so that he can dance the lead until he finds a suitable replacement. Of course once he is in the body, he find out that the only reason the male lead stayed was the sexual favors the diva was giving him....
A guy sneaks in to get the autograph of a ballet dancer, but she is creeped out when she finds him outside her door listening in. So she dresses him up as her, and has her boyfriend come over to teach him a lesson
A guy falls asleep at the ballet. His girlfriend who happens to be a hypnotist whispers suggestions into his ear, giving him a very vivid dream of being a ballerina (this one wouldn't have used the hardcore images, just pictures of the ballerina)
A guy gets mugged in back of a theater. He sneaks in to get cleaned up and finds his clothes stolen. Two of the dancers tell him they'll take care of them so long as he does them a favor. As he is in no position to argue, he agrees and gets made over to a ballet dancer, then has to 'distract' the director.

And those are just the most thoroughly formed ideas. I must have had about a dozen more too. But then a song started to play. I had just recently downloaded Oasis' "Don't Look Back In Anger" and have been enjoying it. I really have no idea how I didn't become a fan of this song when it originally came out.

Now neither the video nor the lyrics were what got me going. But the whole slow, almost regretful and yet inspirational voice got me going. It sounds like someone going down a hard road, but determined to keep moving forward. In TG terms, that reminds me of someone submitting to being transformed. Its hard to give someone trust... its had to let someone 'erase' you and your sexuality, and make you into what they want.

I liked the previous ideas... but they seemed almost to obvious. I wanted to tell a 'better' story, but still use these images. So I thought about a 'sissy' submitting to his mistress. He would be starting a new exercise routine, and have do morning stretches that helped be a better girl. That included stretching out her throat (the BJ pic), and her bum (the 'splits' pic). I liked it.. so I started writing.

At that point Mistress Simone was online and we started chatting. I don't often like to chat while I'm creating, but I did so with Simone, and I think it really helped this cap out. You see I had written about a half a page of 'intro' matreial, and hadn't even mentioned him being in a ballet outfit yet. But instead of taking a cleaver to the idea, I talked about it to Simone and decided to keep it. I would have half of every panel tell part of the 'past' and the other half would cover the 'present'.

With that in mind I finished up the story. Again through talking about it while I was workign on it, I decided to emphasize the sissy working hard at trusting her mistress. So I worked that into the intro, and then worked it into the present portion as well. I didn't even have to work hard to try and match up what was going on in the 'past' to make it relevant to what was happening in the 'present'. It fit in with very little editing on my part.

And again, I have to take my hat off to Mistress Simone. I had the story written and was playing with the design. I made up a color version, but started to doubt that it would work. So I made it black and white, and even made a quick and dirty spot color version. You see I like using the brown/tan/fleshtone colors, but I never get the feeling that it goes over well with viewers. So I showed all three to Simone, and she encouraged me to continue on with the full color treatment.

Just to share, here are the three 'comps' I showed Simone. You can see that I was still working on the little details.

Now that I have the whole series done, I think Simone was right... the color was definitely the way to go.

True Identity

Your 'True Identity' may just surprise you!

This cap was made as part of Angel's new game at Rachel's Haven called "The Fun Has Been Doubled". The idea is to make a cap staring yourself as well as another person. You hand off that cap to them like any other trading cap, but instead of paying you back with a cap of their own, your 'victim' pays it forward, making a cap for someoene else starting their own victim as well as them self. Angel started the game by making a cap for me, so I had to pick someone else to cap.

I had been meaning to cap Erin for quite some time. The only caps I've made for Erin was one of my Zulo caps called "My Slave My Master", and "Oh, But the Fire went Wild". They were both fun to make so Erin was on my short list anyway.

When I read Erin's preferences a couple things stood out to me. Under her dislikes "While I love a good humiliation, domination, or even slavery story, I also want to be completely changed" and under her Preferences "Domination/submission (I think of myself as a switch but playing sub REALLY pushes my buttons),"

I too like to think of myself as a switch, and one of the big button pushers is striving to be a good male dom, and then having the tables turned and find myself as a good little female slave. So that was my basic premise... I didn't want to put to much more story into it without a picture so I wandered over to Fuskator and looked. It's kind of a pain to look for image sets there that involve two women (after all I had to include myself in here!). I found a lot of images that got my mind going, but they were only of one woman, or a woman and a man. One set was really good, but it was a man and woman. When I saw that the set was from Hustler, I put that in as a search term and stumbled upon the image used here.

And the look on the two girls' faces is PERFECT. Seeing as I was already playing with role reversals, I figured I would spice it up by making 'Calvin' meek, and then turn into the dom girl, while Scott would be a wannabe dom, and turned into the slave girl.

I really felt that the image conveyed a lot of the emotional impact, so I tried to limit the story to just the facts. What Scott wanted, what he did to get it, why they changed, and why he looks so worried while Calvin/Caitlyn looks so happy. Its still a little longer (wordy) than I wanted, but I didn't see anything that I was willing to do without.

Overall I'm happy with it. Oh, and one funny little thing that I'm oddly proud of... I always find it hard to work with the color red. I don't know why, but I almost always end up making it more burgendy or pink... this is one of the rare times that I really got a good saturated red tow work for a cap!

Caitlyn's Next 200 Followers

For 200 of you deciding to follow this blog, I offer you a variety of caps!

Well it finally happened. 200 of you have decided to follow this blog. I can't tell you how much that means to me. I had intended to do a 'celebration' cap when I reached 100, but I missed it. I decided that I would celebrate 150 followers... but yea I missed that too.

So I vowed that I would keep closer watch, and have an idea in the back of my head so that I could whip out a cap really quick to celebrate 200. Now I should say that I don't really like the term 'follower'. It makes it sound like I'm a leader and you are all banding together behind me, willing to follow me into battle. Well thats just not the case. But by 'following' me you have shown an interest in what goes on here. You've wanted to be notified easily when I make something new. So while I can get thousands of page views, and hundreds of visitors a day, I consider all of you more of fans. Or watchers. And that I like!

So the basic idea I had was a spoof of my time capping. I've talked before how I got to the Haven because of one of Dementia's caps. So naturally she seemed to be the perfect person to join in my journey. But I should forewarn you that this isn't the 'Dee' that really runs her blog. This isn't based off of her preferences. Its just part of the story that helped it ring 'true' while still being complete fiction.

Now I knew that the basic idea I had was to have 'Dee' push me into becoming 'Caitlyn' in more than cap and blog reality. As I do enjoy the dirty, I incorporated that into this. To me, that meant that I could use just about any 'dirty' image. Therefore I didn't need to base the story off of an image, and I could just write. And with all the design formats I've used, I figured I could write as long of a story as I wanted, and edit it down to fit in any format.

So I wrote and let the story take me where it wanted. It ended up just a little over one page in Word. Not long by my standards, but not short either. For comparison's sake, what I've been writing recently (for a single panel cap) is about a half of a page in word.

I then went over to Fuskator to find an image that went with the story. Thankfully I found this image and it really worked with the ending. It originally had me needing 2 more, and I got three, but it was a simple edit to get it up to needing 3 more and getting 4.

Now I just needed to design. To be honest, when I saw that I had the 200 'follower's I wasn't in the most cappy of moods. But I wanted this to be special, and more than just having a special story. So instead of just making it in my newer format, I looked back at the design of some of my favorite caps. I looked through them for... oh... about an hour? and I kept thinking that I could make the story fit into any of these. Sure, some were a lot shorter on text, but I could concentrate the story down to make it work. And then it just hit me... why not do that? Why not use several caps that represent 'milestones' in my progression of design layouts?

And if I'm going to do that, then why not start at the very beginning:

This is what I would do. I pulled out my original Photoshop file and match up the design philosophy that I used at that time. Here it was just a picture, a border of one color, a background of another color, and text in another color.

This was one of my early favorites. 'Click Click Click' was the first time I used a coloring in method that has become one of the things I do often now. It was also an early (although not first use) of using a stylized title.

This is one of the first caps I made with a titled image and text running around it. That for a very long time was a key design element for me.

This was one of the first caps where I had the title sitting over a slightly opaque 'title box'. The titles got a little longer, and a little more stylized.

While this wasn't a design I used that often, it was coloring in an image in a different way, and one of my shortest formatted caps ever.

Certainly not the first time I did this, but it was combining putting text in its own box, along with a title in its box. both of them on top of the image. It also represents the time where I started using my watermark.

Last but not least, this represents my current designs. I don't have one that I really consider my 'standard' of this design yet, so I didn't base this off of a current cap. I also did the heaviest manipulation of the photo here. Although to be hones, I was getting sick of working so much with this one image.

Now one thing you'll note is that every cap has a different amount of text in it. The 'entire' story is in the final version, but I don't consider any of the other variations to be incomplete. You see when I make caps I have a normally have a design in mind, and know roughly how much text I need to make it look good. I'm aware when I'm writing that I'll either need heavy editing or I'll need to find another image so that I can make it a multi panel cap. So editing down this story to fit all these caps... that would have been my process if I had written this back then. I tried to change it up for each.. sometimes they have more of the beginning of the story, and sometimes they have more of the ending. But I think I would be happy with any of them standing up on its own.

The same goes with the image manipulations. When I pick an image, I don't always know how I'm going to crop it. I don't always know if I'm going to play with the colors, give it a filter, smooth it out, or darken parts of it. So the image matches up with the design, and I'm happy with how they all came out.

And of course the same applies to the titles used. I normally make the title knowing how much space I have. Only recently have I really been altering parts of the title to make a longer one fit in a smaller place. That's why these caps all have similar and yet different titles.

One last thing I did, is I showed how sometimes my editing can radically change what I originally wrote down. When I was editing the story down for 'Follower #201' I realized I could have gone with a 'willing' story and this premise would still work. But that's the only cap where I specifically changed the 'tone'. I do it.. just not often.

Anyway... thank you all again for having an interest in my blog, my caps and me. I hope that I'll continue to make caps that you enjoy, and I'll try to never be happy with what I'm doing so that I can constantly improve. And you never know... maybe I'll have something special for my 400th 'follower'.

Resistance is... REQUIRED!

If you can't resist, Alectra can!

So last week while posting "Deep Down Desires" I mentioned that I was working on a cap for Alectra. I finished it up this morning. Now way back when Alectra requested a cap from me, one of the first things I thought about was doing something that was transitional. Not just transitioning from masculine to feminine, but transitioning from Alectra to Raffside. I didn't want this to be a long story having Raffside or some narrator talking about how she was once Alectra... I wanted it to be right in the middle. To see Alectra putting up the resistance that will eventually leading her to break and become Raffisde.

To be honest, beyond that premise the ideas just kept changing for this one. Alectra had settled down to these two images, but they both brought me different ideas. The first image can be summed up by the last line in the first panel. Its Pablo not wanting to be this sexy curvy submissive woman, and Alectra acting like she is. I don't know where I get that from, but I get the sense that this girl isn't as submissive as her position, clothes, and leash suggest... she's just acting like she is. As if she is trying to fool someone.

The second image I get a completely different vibe from. In that one my initial impression is of reluctant acceptance. She isn't fooling anybody, and now wants what she is getting.

Obviously the stories go in different directions. But when I sat down, I kept mixing them up. I would write about Alectra trying to fool her captors, but she kept reluctantly accepting it, which didn't match the first panel (at least not to me). I would then write about Alectra slowly submitting... basically becoming Raffside right before our eyes... but I kept making her resist to much.

So I had to keep putting this to the side. I knew there was a good story there, I just needed time to get to it.

When I went to pick it up yesterday, I got a little fright. Not only did nothing come to me as I looked at these images... there was no desire to cap. Since late last year, I've had a very strong almost consistent desire to cap. I haven't always taken advantage of it because the desire alone isn't enough... I also have to have that creative spark otherwise the cap will still fall flat. But I had that a lot too. I think these past few months have been some of my most productive.

But yesterday.... nothing. It was like last summer. I didn't panic, I didn't cry, I didn't scream. I just carried on doing other things. And thankfully this morning I did have the desire back. But yesterday reminded me that this cappy feeling is fickle. And if it follows the pattern I've had for the last couple years (or in other words, since I've been capping), that sometime this spring the desire will go away. I have no idea why this feeling is seasonal, but I just don't seem to have nearly as strong a desire to cap in late spring/summer/early autumn.

I promise though, that I won't whine about it nearly as much as I did last year. And I'll keep plugging away and make caps when I can.

But back to this cap. I refocused on my original premise. Transition from Alectra to Raffisde. Alectra says that her character becomes Raffside when she fights to hard and finally submits, changing into the slutty submissive Raffside. But instead of having her resist against Pablu, I wanted a stronger external force. I know I still had to start from Pablo and he wouldn't want to change at all, so thats where the idea of signing up for a university research experiment came in.

Once I wrote the first few paragraphs, the idea started to really flow, and I finished it up in one writing. I did have to edit some out, but it was just me floundering around in the beginning, adding details that I thought I might expand upon. Seeing as I never touched them again, I just deleted those parts out to make the story a little more tight.

I think the cap is pretty good overall. I'm not sure if my underlying story of Alectra ---> Raffside is evident enough (and especially if you don't know Alectra's preferences), but I think its good even without that.

I'm assuming that this 'dee' isn't the Dee from "'Dee'lusions of Grandeour", but I am still appreciative of the comment and question.

So firstly, thank you for your kind words. I wrote "Learn how to kiss for Valentine's Day" as a fun quickly so that those people coming here wanting to view my harder core caps wouldn't be disappointed that I skipped them on Valentine's Day. There is something formulatic that I'm just beginning to understand about this type of cap that gets both a lot of views and comments like this one. Put a guy in a situation that he thought was going to be good, make him wrong, change him (don't really go into the change, just say he was changed), and then have him perform blow job after blow job.

I can't complain... I like this style of cap too. About the only thing I can do to reliably get more hits and views than that style of cap, is to make one for smitty. I don't know if its just mentioning his name or what... but the caps I make for smitty are some of my highest viewed caps. But then again, the caps I made for smitty are generally the same XXX as discussed, AND involve his fans (most are caps involving The Technologist, which his fans come to read to keep up on the smittyverse.

Anyway, its satisfying in a way to make these caps. Its the same type of satisfaction I get from reading a comic book, or playing a casual flash game. Do I get a deep sense of accomplishment? No. Do I feel that I've made myself a better capper? No. Do I feel that I've added to the TG capping community with something new or inventive? No. But its still fun, and I won't deny myself or my viewers that fun.

The only question I have for you dee (not Dee, but dee) is this. What about "Learn how to kiss for Valentine's Day" in particular made it hot for you? Was it the picture that drew you in and caught you enough to make this comment? Was it the holiday theme? Was it the fact that the story was basically 'blah blah blah man now woman gives many blow jobs blah blah blah'? Or was it something else? The reason I ask is that I will continue to make this type of cap as I explained above... its fun. But if I could find out what you liked about this in particular I can better copy the formula, and hopefully make more caps that you enjoy this much.

So that covers the 'wow' the 'soo hot live it' and the 'need more like this'.... that leaves the mp3s and gifs.

I can say that if you want mp3s of me reading the stories.. well that just won't happen. First I don't have good equipment to record my voice. The only microphone I have is on my gaming headset. Its great for screaming out "Grenade!! Get Down!" but not great for recording the nuances of a sultry reading. Besides... fantasy aside, I don't have a voice that anyone here would want to listen to. I like being 'Caitlyn' as much as the next person likes being their female persona, but I don't have a voice to match it. I've actually played around with a few voice altering programs, but none of them sounded good (at least the free trials I've played with).

If you like readings of this nature, I would point you to Strapped in Silk. This site has a lot of mp3s that you can listen to. You do have to pay, but they are worth it.

Now if you are looking for a cap with a soundtrack? Well.... I don't really make my caps with a particular song in mind. Sure there is the rare cap like "Somebody that I used to know" where a song inspired a cap and would go nicely as an accompanying piece, but normally its not how I think. I am far more visually stimulated than auditorily stimulated.

And that brings us down to gifs. I think I know the type you are thinking of, where it is like a small video clip with text overlaying it telling the story. I get kick out of those types of presentations, but to make it worth viewing, you have to severely cut either the size or the quality. Otherwise you end up with a 20 Megabyte gif file (and yes, I've seen them that size before!). I'm not willing to compromise on either the size or quality, so making those gifs are just out of the question too.

Besides, I find it hard to find a single image that matches what I have in mind. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to find a video clip that showed the action and emotion I was going for. So... sorry, I just don't think me making any type of video is in the cards.

The Technologist is back, and has a new target!

Before you read this, I should forewarn you that this cap relies heavily on information which you wold get from other caps. If you are up to date on Smitty (the character from smitty) and The Technologist (my own character), then go ahead and read. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then its best to go down and read my post first (specifically the 'Previous Material' section).

So I've been playing with the idea of using 'The Technologist' again. Smitty told me awhile back that he had use of the character in his upcoming continuation of the Smitty story line, so at first I wanted to just put him into a regular transformation story. Just a guy using advanced technology to transform someone into a sissy. But I also wanted to put out hints of what he can do. How grand of a scale he can work on.

I also wanted to give at least a small look into how he treats his sissies. So initially my idea was to have him training one of his advanced sissies in the transformation arts. He would go on and explain to his new victom how once he was transformed into a sissy, that he would love The Technologist, and that The Technologist would give him every sissy desire he could... even letting him eventually help trap and transform future sissies.

Well this has been running around the back of my head for some time. What really threw me over the edge was Smitty's new cap "I love the way you think". This cap utilizes the character of Smitta... and reminded me that The Technologist was looking for her (he kind of found her, but he still doesn't have her nanites). So that could lead to the new technology, and show what he was willing to do, just to attain Smitta and her special nanites.

Now to be honest, this is more of a story. The pictures and the sissy transformation in it, is really secondary to the story. But I think it still works.

Now... if you aren't caught up with any of this, and want to read up on it, please read Previous Material below. Understand... its a lot of reading. But reading this without that is kind of like walking halfway into The Godfather Part II. Its nice, but you would be lost. Oh.. and understand that this is just the material relevant to "The Technologist" story line. Smitty has a VERY long history himself.

Lessons always help... right?

So I felt kind of bad for only having a nice sweet Valentine's Day cap. I figured I should throw together a quick dirty one to kind of balance it out. To be honest, I didn't throw a lot of effort into this, as I knew that the image behind it would be most of the fun. But it does follow that well tread path.

Just imagine if everything was like the TG world. If you wanted to keep your manhood intacact would you EVER sign anything without a team of lawyers present to comb over every single detail and spell out every singe procedure?

Hmm... nevermind. Probably asking the wrong group of people. The answer is just a little too obvious... of course you would sign it. In fact if it was this world, we would be running aorund and signing up for Everything!

True love takes time!

So I've been fighting off a cold the last few days, and to be honest the fight hasn't been going well. Thankfully it doesn't involve a headache or stomach ache as I find it almost impossible to work through those two symptoms. Coughing, being stuffed up, and having a sore throat are things I can deal with. But while I can deal with them, they do make it hard to cap. It's hard to feel 'sexy' when I'm constantly wiping snot off my upper lip.

But I not capping for these past few days has been frustrating enough that I wanted to give it a go. Being that it's Valentine's Day I thought it only natural to make a cap for it. I searched for an image that to me showed more love than lust, and when I saw this one... well it just screamed out for a cap. I originally figured I would write a very short and sweet story about a guy getting transformed by his friend. He would admit that it he went along reluctantly, but now loved him for it.

While I didn't start with the last paragraph, I had that in mind as the last half of the story. But I couldn't get the first 'half' to work. It just felt like it needed a little more explanation. And even at this length, I feel his emotional transformation (from being forced, to being reluctant, to being willing) is still a little jarring. But I really didn't want to write two panels worth, so I finally stopped here.

While its not the best TG Valentine's Day cap I ever found, I do think its pretty good, and I'm happy with it.

Oh BTW. I stumbled upon a cap blog that I had never visited before. Now I come across 'new' blogs fairly often, and I'll visit them. But most of the time they only have a handful of caps, and its hard to get an inkling of what the artists' style will end up as. Some have nice designs, some have nice stories, but rarely does a 'new' blog have both. And for the most part, they seem to be looking for comments.

Well the blog I found isn't new. It was started back in 2010. The earliest caps are white text on a black background. But after a few months, this artist started using colored backgrounds and even colored text. The thing that rally caught my eye though was the text placement. They use a lot of negative space around the text which really sets it off. Its nothing complex or over designed, and it looks really good.

And the writing? Very nice!

But the part that really inspired me to follow the blog, and tell everyone here about it, is the fact that they don't have comments enabled on their blog. There is no voting, or any other method to give this artist a thumbs up. From what I can see, they simply have a desire to make caps, and post them online. I think it really adds to the 'purity' of their caps.

They don't have a big following (I believe I was the 55th person to follow the blog). So head on over to L. Stark Captions and give it a look. I think just about everyone can find something that they'll like there!

Deep Down Desires

She'll desire this... eventually!

So Alectra requested a cap from me awhile back. She had a model picked out that she really liked, but the first group of photo links she sent me didn't work. She sent me another but also gave me the model's name. The picture was an awesome photo, but it was kind of small and the color was warped.

Using the model's name (Ava Rose), I tried hunting down the image she sent, but in better quality. Well while searching through dozens upon dozens of Ava Rose sets, I found this set. I know Alectra liked the model, and loves stockings... but the image she sent me was of Ava in a latex suite. And by my approximation Alectra's love of latex supersedes her love of stockings. So I saved this set back and kept looking.

When I finally sent Alectra some alternate image links to look through (didn't find the original one, but some others from the same set), I came back to these images. I really really liked her poses in these two images. It felt like she was struggling against her body. In the first image I got the sense that she wanted to crawl through the open window and run away, while in the second image she was being forced to experience the pleasure this body could give her.

Obviously I was looking at them in the TG kind of way!

I started writing, but it didn't take long for me to realize that this could be a really good cap. The design would be simple and clean, and the colors were just great (having all the various tans and browns, contrasting against her blue panties and bra). So instead of writing more I went over to the Haven to see if the basic story I had in mind (doctor talking to friend of the transformed, convincing her that the transformed person wanted this, while the person struggles mentally against it) would work with someone else's preferences.

I normally don't do this. I want the person's preferences front and center if I am going to create something specifically for them. But I really like sharing my good caps. I figured I wouldn't look to hard... if I didn't find someone who's preferences this would match up with, I would just make it and post it here exclusivity.

I figured what i would need is someone who wanted brunette hair, revenge, and hypnosis. When I looked at the list of names, I thought back to who I had been wanting to cap. Now I knew the preferences of people on my internal 'to cap' list, and I didn't think this would be the best fit. But then I saw sarinedavis's name.

Ever since Jennifer and I collaborated on "Paris: City of Lights, Love, and Sissies" for sarinedavis, I have wanted to make another cap for her. Not only is she a sweety, but whenever she comments she seems to say more than 'Nice!' or 'Good cap!'. She almost always qualifies her praise, letting me know WHAT she liked about it. And I just adore that.

So looking at her preferences I saw that this would indeed fit. To be honest her preferences are fairly open, so almost any cap would work. I liked that as I could write this more freestyle. So I started to write. When I felt I had a good beginning I went into Photoshop and set the design. I thought it was a good breaking point, but I didn't like how I had Diane's protests. On my first pass I had them inline with the text, as if she was thinking of them as her girlfriend and the doctor were speaking. It was o.k... but it really broke up the girlfriend's and doctor's conversation. Plus even putting her thoughts in parentheses and having them a different color made it seem to me that she was saying them, and not just thinking them.

So to fix that I removed them, and put them as 'thoughts' floating around her. I liked it. I felt it was more obvious that she was constantly thinking these thoughts, and that they didn't specifically have to match up with what her girlfriend and doctor were saying at any particular moment.

I then fit the text where I wanted it and moved on. I went back into Word and started writing up the finishing touches. Like a lot of my caps I wanted the 'zinger' at the end... that she and the doctor had previous run ins. I didn't want an obvious statement from the doctor that he was doing this, instead staying with his calm conversation with Diane's girlfriend. So that was one of the first 'thoughts' that I put in "He Did This For REVENGE!".

Of course it wouldn't be a real 'Caitlyn' cap if the writing went perfectly smooth. I ended up having to cut about an entire paragraph from the 2nd panel. I MAY have been able to fit it in, if I didn't want to use a rectangular text box. You can see the extra empty space to the upper left of the text box, above Diane's face. But as I was playing around with that, it just didn't look right. So I cut out some stuff. Primarily it was the girlfriends thoughts about how she liked him (even had his name... Donald) as he was, and how she really regretted him ever coming here. I thought it was nice, but it wasn't necessary. So it got edited out. A few more things, and changing a few phrases made it fit the second panel.

Now I'll be honest, I am always tempted to just use a smaller font, instead of making edits to the story when it doesn't fit right. But I had already set the design in the first panel, and that (to me at least) includes the font size.

Now if anyone is reading this, I would like your opinion on a couple things. These are 'in general' opinions and don't have to reflect this cap in particular. First is the font size. Does it bother you to see different font sizes on various panels of a series cap? Second is horizontal vs vertical. Now I try to respect the image when I decide between making it horizontal or vertical. By that I mean I almost always crop it down to where it needs to be (in my eye), and that determines if its horizontal or vertical. For example, if I was just capping the 2nd image here, I would have probably cropped it vertically, so that it would focus on her. The only reason I didn't here, was the empty space in both photos matched up pretty well, and utlizing it for the text just made sense. But as a whole, do you like it when I change format nid way through a cap series? Does it bother you that I started out with a vertical image then moved to a horizontal image for the 2nd panel?

Anyway... any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated. I'm happy with this one myself!

Obviously this question came in from Cheryl at transia.com. For full disclosure I have visited transia.com several times and viewed a couple of their previews, but I haven't ever made a purchase from them. I am very intrigued at their products though. I've seen a few cross dressing videos online before. Most of them are... bad. Low production quality (looks like they were filmed by taping a camera phone to the wall), bad stories and bad acting.

Transia doesn't have any of these issues. They film their videos with the quality of a professional studio, have interesting stories, and use real actors as well as real crossdressers. Some of their recent videos include a bridal fantasy (guy peeks into his landlady getting dressed, gets caught and is forced to dress up as a bride), salesman fantasy (guy comes to sell some ladies pantyhose, and they end up forcing him to dress in his own wares), hypno fantasy (sexist guy goes for hypnotherapy and is made to dress up like a woman)... you get the idea. They have many many films to look through, and I know several have peaked my interest.

For me personally it comes down to cash flow. I don't have any, so its hard to buy a film even at transia's reasonable prices. But if you come here and enjoy crossdressing caps, then you should definitely head over to transia.com and peruse their wares (they even have 3D!)

But as much as I like transia and what they offer, I will not be participating in a link/banner exchange. I'm honored to be asked, but the only links I put up on this blog, are sites that I regularly go to. I only add blogs to my blog roll when I keep searching them out, and want to be notified when they are updated. I only add sites to my links list that I frequently go to. You see, one of the reasons I added these in the first place was a kind of bookmark system. Its to help preserve my privacy on my own computer.

When I am going around the web in 'Caitlyn' mode, I use the incognito feature of Google Chrome (or the InPrivate feature in IE). So the sites I frequent are never saved in the cache. I don't have any bookmarks in any of my web browsers. So this way I really only have to remember one address... caitlynsmasks.blogspot.com. Since I don't frequently go to transia.com, I don't see a good reason to add it to my list beyond looking for traffic from their side of the exchange.

To give you an idea of how I use my blog and link lists. When I come to my own blog, the first thing I do is log on and check out what traffic has been like. This helps me see what is popular, and what people are viewing. I then go down the blog list from the top, until I reach a blog that hasn't updated since I was last on (this morning that included visits to Playful Publishing, and sp2000's TG Captions. Modern Goddess: The TG Shrine of Decadence was next on the list, but when I went there I saw that it hadn't updated since I visited last night, so I stopped checking out blogs. Next I hit up my links... Satin Minions, and TG Comics. After I get done with any posting I want to do, I then head over to Rachel's Haven, and finally end up at DX. These sites are last as I generally spend quite a bit of time at each.

Don't get me wrong... I LOVE having a lot of people come to visit my blog. My main source of traffic is from www.worldoftg.com. They have an incredibly extensive blog roll that is ordered by recent updates. So when I update my blog, I pop up to the top of their list. I can see that trend in my traffic... when I post something new I get a ton of traffic that tapers off over a day or so. But again, I don't go there that often myself, so I don't link back. But I am not looking for traffic. I've said before that if my viewership dropped down to almost no one, I would still make my caps and post them here. Comments have dropped off quite a bit recently, and that doesn't slow me down.

So me not linking to transia.com (or any other quality site) has nothing to do with my opinion of their site, or of the products they produce. I like them and think more people should go over there to buy them. But I don't use my blog as a way to direct people to where I think they should go.

Cap Failure.

In my recent write up of "Is this what you had in Mind?" I mentioned a cap I was working on previously. This is the story of that cap... or rather what I have of that cap. Let me explain in a little more detail.

The other day I wanted to cap. I believe this was the same day that I wrote "Whatever it takes to win" I had found some delicious images that got me going on a story. But it seemed that any time I started planning out the story, it just got longer and longer. As this was just for consumption here, I didn't mind it being long, and figured I had plenty of time to do it. If I were just working on this cap alone, I would have had plenty of time to ride that high and finish it. But I was doing so many other things. I was chatting with several people, keeping up on several threads at DX, and even doing an IM role play with someone from DX (it was actually in the DX chat-room, but I still think of it as an IM role play as we could respond to each other in real time.

That style of role playing (IM, chat or live) can get me quite manic. It gives me a real good high feeling. But while its very creative in its own right... its more of 'in the moment' creativity. Read, react, read, react. It isn't nearly as much planning as cap creation is. So unfortunately I was finding it difficult to changing my gears so quickly.

I did get the first panel done, and wrote the part to the second panel. But when I tossed the text into the design... well it was to much. By about 1/2 paragraph. And editing it out was just beyond me at that point. Now as I said, I was fairly manic, which also makes me feel rather invincible. So I saved the files away, figuring I would just finish it up later.

Well later came that next day. And when I read it I got a descent spark of what I was going for... but that's it. I didn't feel inspired to finish the story, let alone edit the second panel down at all. So I didn't work on it, nor did I cap anything.

The same thing held the next day.

This morning I went past this cap series, and made "Is this what you had in Mind?" hoping it would get me more into that capping mood. But while I was feeling creative and in a capping mood... I still didn't get anything from this series.

Normally, I would toss this away. I would delete the files and not return. That spark is gone, and from experience, I don't think its going to come back. But you know... while I've talked about my process often enough before, I've never really gone over what I would call a failure. And I remember the first time this happeend to me. That I started a cap, but couldn't finish it. I felt really low, and thought that the capping bug had just left me. That I would never be a really good capper, and that I should just walk away so that I could remember my capping life fondly and not struggle with it until I hated that time in my life.

Obviously I kept with capping. And after I established myself more and became friends with more cappers, I learned that this isn't all that uncommon. That most cappers, including ones that I hold in incredibly high esteem have several caps that never see the light of day. That never get finished.

And you know what? If for no other reason that letting some newer capper know that this DOES happen, and that it doesn't mean anything more than that I should just put this cap to bed, and move on, I want to share it.

So I spent about an hour today editing down the second panel. I was so close to having that part done, that I wanted to present it close to a finished product. It was torturous. Edits that should take me a few minutes took about an hour and a half. And I'm not happy with the result. But the 'scene' that I wanted to convey in that second panel is there.

I also went ahead and put the last two panels together, roughly how I figured they would look. Now don't bother reading the text here. Its just copied from the second panel. Consider the text and text boxes as place holders:

The basic gist of the story was going to be our heroin putting herself more and more into the role of Ella's sexy girlfriend and even licking her boyfriend because she wanted to please Ella. This would lead her to becoming jealous as her boyfriend sounded happier to have our heroine work on him, rather than her.

She would guide him into fucking our heroin anally, but that would lead to her getting even angrier as our heroine tried to stay into her pleasuring role (all the while she is getting more and more humiliated and scared). That's the third panel.

The last panel is Ella going all out, making sure that her boyfriend cums into our heroine's mouth. In a bit of anger she would tell her boyfriend that our heroine didn't have a place to stay and tell him to take her home. Telling him that he could use her any way he wanted. She would whisper something evil to our heroine, about only her being able to take the suit off, and since she enjoyed her boyfriend so much that she could spend all her time with him from now on. That's the final panel.

Basically a story of actions being misinterpreted, and leading to the subject being punished for doing what he thought his girl wanted. Just writing it out still gives me a pleasant shiver. But when I try to put that skeleton of a story into prose... it just falls flat.

But that's why I have it titled as "Jealousy" The title doesn't really come into its own until the third panel. I may still come back and try to finish this. If I do, I'll post it as a new subject. But for now, if you're capping, know that we all go down paths that we can't continue down. It happens. Don't let it discourage you, and don't let it stop you from writing.

When making the perfect woman, make sure to include everything!

So the other day I was making a cap that turned out to be fairly long. I didn't finish it, hoping that I could pick it up later and complete it. But the next day... nothing. I didn't cap at all as I figured if I couldn't do that, I just wasn't in the mood. This morning I took a look at it... and nothing. I had lost all spark to finish it.

But instead of just giving up on capping at all, I thought I might just leave it to the side and make a new cap. As I opened up Fuskator (by the way, I keep mentioning this not to name drop, but so that I have a link to it easily available for later use. I haven't memorized the name just yet.. I keep thinking fukamator!) I remembered that I had a cap that I owed. It was from Jeannie, an artist that I hadn't capped before. Her preferences were fairly wide open and she had listed them in a post dated December of 2006. She had updated it once in 2009, 2010 and 2011. I figured since the 2011 update was the farthest from her original request (both in time and subject matter) that I would focus in on that.

She wanted to be a transgurl, and included three such gurls. One of them was Britney Markham whom I really like myself (I recognized her body, but didn't know her name until I went searching for images). There were plenty to choose from but this one really stuck out to me. The guys expression is what gets me, and makes me think of two friends. With the basic idea of two friends, one transforming the other, I wrote this up fairly quickly. I thought it was a fun, tongue in cheek cap.

The design fell together fairly easily, and I quickly posted it to the haven. The only problem really came up once I started posting here and re-read it. I hadn't used any name but my own. Jeannie generally likes to have the male name of John and the female name of Jeannie, or any female 'J' name. I was just in the habit of making caps for no one in particular, and the story didn't have an obvious place to slip her name into it as i was her speaking to Calvin.

I hope she doesn't mind. She didn't mention it in her comment to the cap, but I'll have to keep my eye on it for later caps.

Whatever it takes to Win

Some people need to win.

So I was kind of in the middle ground. I didn't particularly want to cap, but at the same time I wasn't opposed to capping. I didn't have any inspiration, and honestly didn't feel like looking through people's preferences to make a trade cap.

So I wandered over to the Haven's monthly capping contest. It looks like February's contest was just getting underway and had the theme of 'Bets'. Figuring this would be enough inspiration I headed over to Fuskator.com and started perusing images. I purposefully let my mind stay blank, and accepted any story that an image brought to me. If I liked the story, I tried to twist it around to make it somehow related to a bet. There were a few images that had basic stories come up, but I didn't think any of the stories could be manipulated enough to make it a bet.

And then this image came up. I loved the way she is hiding her face away from the camera. Her body positioning makes me think that she is showing off her shoes. The story was fairly easy to come up with from there. I liked writing up all the steps our heroine here has to go through, and couldn't help adding in a little dirty part at the end.

Overall I'm happy with it, but if I'm honest with myself I doubt it has any chance of winning. The winner is crowned via a popular vote, and I don't think there are enough people at the Haven that really enjoy cross dressing stories for me to win.

But hey... at least I got a cap out of the experience!

Experience Everything

'Everything' includes an addiction to cock!

So while I was posting the last few caps I made ("She'll Learn" and "Body Suit Instructions") over at the Haven, I clicked on the wrong link and was presented with a list of threads that had updated since I was last there. I normally don't keep up with all that goes on at the Haven any more, so while I had the list up I read a few threads, and a few new caps. One of the threads was from Argus (probably better known outside the Haven as Evie). It seems her blog was recently suspended by Blogger.

This has been happening a lot lately. I've been to Evie's blog many times, but it wasn't one that I went to daily, so I didn't notice it was gone (even though it was suspended back on January 24th). If you haven't noticed it yet, Blogger is apparently at random suspending blogs and requiring the owner to give their phone number as proof of ownership. A code is then text messaged to this number, and that code will allow the user to open their blog back up.

Now if your blog is "Tony's Gardening Tips", or "Samantha's Bar Recommendations of South Philly", you probably don't care if Blogger knows who you really are. And while I can't speak for all cap artists, I really don't want Blogger to know who I really am. I'm perfectly happy behind my email address. If a site requests to know my name I list it as:

First Name: Caitlyn.
Last Name: Masked

This helps ensure my anonymity, and also helps me keep my Caitlyn persona seperate from my 'Real Life' personal. My real life persona has had a gmail account for a long long time, and now has a G+ account, a Piccsa account... basically almost all of Goggle's services. And just in case you didn't know... Google owns Blogger, and runs it as one of their services.

So while I can appreciate Google wanting to keep accounts secured (hey, steal my password and steal my account.. but you would have to physically steal my phone to keep me from getting it all back!), I would probably be in Evie's same state... screwed. Unless she wants to give Blogger/Google a phone number where she can get receive a text, she will not get access to her blog back. And for Evie this is doubly bad, as she had caps up on her blog that she no longer has copies of. So unless she figures out a way to get her account back, they are gone forever.

The more I thought about Evie and her situation, the more I felt bad for her. She really is between a rock and a hard place.

So I decided to make her a cap. No, its not going to solve any of her problems, but hopefully it will bring a smile to her face. I had been eyeing these pictures for a couple days and just LOVED both the photography and the model (Kagney Karter), but it didn't give me a coherent enough idea to make a story from. But with Evie's preferences as tools to manipulate it, the story came into focus.

Body Suit Instructions

Always read those pesky instructions!

While working on "She'll Learn" I came across a lot of great images that just didn't work for the 'husband turned into a daughter' style story line. When I finished posting it, I went back to see if any of these fine images sparked a story, now that I had a fully open mind.

Much like the image that got me to make "She'll Learn" I found an image that didn't exactly inspire a story, but just kept me staring at it:

I honestly had no idea why this woman was using that toy in that manner.... but man I wanted to find out! The images in the series are all great (you can see them here) but it was the perspective in this single image that made me want to cap it. So I sat back staring at the image and let my mind go blank. What I saw was a woman that was frustrated, and yet needed to use this dildo. So why would she be frustrated... I mean hell that looks pretty fun to me! Obviously with the blog in mind she used to be a man... but that still looks fun. So he would be frustrated because... he needed to use that dildo to turn back into a man... but he couldn't orgasm while doing it?.

Now I'm not a fan of the stories that say 'if I get cum in me the spell becomes permenant'. Yes, I've used it a few times, but I've always tried to make a reason why it was true. And those reasons normally were more technological. Like the cum would short something out, or the orgasm would cause the system to overload. So while I still felt it was a bit of a cop out, I still thought that this general idea would work. It does explain why she seems pleased and frustrated at the same time.

The easiest way to get this tech feel was with a body suit. But if she couldn't orgasm why would she be using the dildo? In fact why couldn't she orgasm? I mean in a world where a body suit can make you into this beautiful of a woman, I bet sex would be a big part of it.

When I thought of that last part, it all fell into place. Yes, you could have sex, and yes you could even orgasm. But the nerual connections to let you feel these things couldn't remain permanent. So that sets a deadline. And of course you wouldn't want your suit coming off accidentally... so why not make the 'removal tool' have to hit up inside your pussy?

I liked it, so I began to write, and even had a working title. I figured "Read the instructions first" would work. Sadly I had already used the title in this cap. Anyway... changing a title wasn't a problem. The fact that I wrote almost a full page WAS the problem. I wanted the design to be simple so that you could focus on the image. So I just pulled up another image in the series that worked (she does look like she is reminiscing right?) and thankfully I could fit most of the story there.

She'll Learn

And she'll love learning!

So I recently got a 'free' cap from JPL (JPL Debi, and/or Debi) on the haven. The psudo quotes are because she offers her caps for free, and doesn't expect a return. Debi wrote up a post saying that she was offering her caps for free because so many people were worried about cap debt. I can only imagine that I was one of the people she was thinking of as I've often whined about being to deep in cap debt.

I think her way of giving caps away is brilliant. I just want to make sure that she doesn't get burned by her generosity. Plus I've found her caps to be really well written, and appreciated. I love returning caps (especially when the cap making bug has me under its spell, like it does now!).

So it seems that Debi's big button to push is his wife/girlfriend making him over into their daughter, and making him get pregnant. Now I really like the idea of being made into someone's daughter... but with the dirty mind that I have, its a tough line to walk as I always feel it necessary to sneak in a reference to her age. Specifically that she is 18 or older.

Getting photo isn't hard. There seems to be quite a plethora of 'young girl' xxx photos (again, young being 18-20). My only problem is that these photos are rarely the quality I'm looking for. Instead of being focused on creating a wonderfully photographed scene, the people that produce these images focus instead on showing that this is a young girl. As if that is the only thing that matters. So searching for images to inspire me isn't the easisest thing to do. I find plenty that would work, but not many that I really like. And when I came across these images, I thought i was in for more of the same. The light in the photograph is fairly flat, and between the skirt and the 'report' they are sharing, it seemed that this was more about proving that this porn star is a young lady, and not about making a good photograph.

And then I came upon the image I used in the second panel. The positioning of the couple and the camera leads to a wonderful perspective. And the expression on her face.... wow. So I kept the image series open, and sat back to think about how to use them. Sadly a story didn't immediately present itself, but I don't often write the 'husband changed to his wife's daughter to get pregnant because he hadn't given his wife a child' style of story, so it isn't surprising that I didn't come up with a story. Now this preferences is pretty all encompassing. It not only gives what the man is transformed into (a daughter) but it gives what her life will be (to get pregnant), and why it was done (because he denied his wife a child). Debi has had many caps written for her that have used that story line. Most are good, but even the best ones have a hard time standing out.

So I wanted to make this a little different. I decided not to focus on the actual transformation, but her mental training instead. When I looked at the image in the first panel, I could just picture his wife's apprehension, hoping that he would finally succumb to his new life of Debi, and work on getting pregnant. Now I knew it would lead to the second image, so I started writing. To give it a bit more difference I write it from his wife's perspective, letting his feelings come out in actions instead of spelling out that he was hurt, shy, scared, embarrassed....

I think the story was coming along nicely when I got interrupted by someone at the door. After a 15 minute talk about my financial future and what this new company could offer me in the form or Roth IRAs or other retirement planning (hard to plan for retirement when I'm not working!), I returned to the story. And I don't know where it came from, but it hit me... what if the boy doing such good work with Debi was once a girl? What if in fact he was the wife of his former neighbor? So often Debi has to meet her new 'step father', wouldn't it be kind of cool if her 'mother' and 'step father' worked together to get him and his neighbor's wife together as a young couple!?

I had already written all of the first panel, and the first text box in the second panel, so writing up the last text box was just the right amount of 'gut punch' to end the story with. All I did to change what I had previously wrote was add "And if Aaron couldn’t help her accept it, then no one could." to the first panel. That way there was at least a hint that something new was going on.

I don't plan on writing more female to male transformations, so I won't add a category for it, but if it comes up again I think I will add it, as it feels like it could be interesting!

Break Free

Maybe one day we can all break free of our shells

So I was meandering around, looking at some images. I didn't know if I was in the mood to cap, or not and figured if I found an image that called out, I would cap it. But if I didn't find an image like that, I would just move on and cap later.

Well the second gallery I came across didn't just call out, it screamed at me. To me this is one of those rare image that doesn't really need a story at all. As such, I didn't want to write a complex story. Sure, I could have written a complex story about how 'Alex' worked with a woman on some transformitive gel. I could cover what they hoped to do with this gel (medical research, military uses, cosmetic changes...) and write how they needed to test it. I could write how he had cheated on her when they were together as boy/girlfriend and how this was the perfect opportunity for her to get even. To make him into a girl, so he could live out his life like her, searching for a man to make her happy.

I mean the image was big enough that I had plenty of room to write it. I could have even cropped and changed the image to fit it into my older design which gave me plenty of room to write more. But I felt it better to focus on her breaking free. All I needed to do was establish what was happening (talk about HIM, the GEL, and his body CHANGING). I through in the Mistress part just to hint at a why, and also to add just a bit of strife. He didn't want this for him, he wanted this for her.

I wanted to keep the layout as simple as possible, so instead of making a border or playing with the colors, I just utilized the blank space for the story and title and called it a day.

Stuck as an Angel

Can you love and hate at the same time?

So I tried to cap some last night, but just couldn't get anything moving. I was hoping that I could get into the mood by making a fun quicky, then use that energy to make a cap for Angel, as she was next on my trade list. Even chatting with Simone, sharing pictures back and forth, and getting her encouraging ideas couldn't start a spark.

Well that't not fully true. I could get a spark, but just couldn't breath it into a full fledged capping fire. I'm not sure I can finish the cap I was trying to make, so I may as well share it here. This is the image that I was working from (as you can see, I started to throw it into a design, but hadn't done more than make the 'border'):

the idea that came to me the first time I saw this picture was this. A guy is jealous of his friend's family money. He works out a way to change into him, not realizing that his friend was just about to be transformed into a a prim and proper daughter.

I think that was interesting, but Simone had a better idea. The two guys are just friends, but the rich parents don't trust the poor kid. So they transform him into a prim and proper lady for their son.

I REALLY liked this idea. I could go with a soft and loving style (he realizes that being his friends girlfriend/wife would let them be closer than they ever could be as buddies), or darker and scarier (he hates that he is transformed, but when he tells his buddy about what his parents did, his buddy just laughs and tells him that he knew all about it.)

But when I opened up word.... nothing. I had a ghost of a story, and a couple different emotional impacts, but I couldn't get those out into words. So after struggling with it for awhile, I just saved the Photoshop file and moved on. No capping that night.

That brings me to this morning. I was now in a capping mood, but when I brought this image back up... it felt old. Stale. I had already experienced the emotional highs that I had last night, and now just had no interest in writing it out. In fact, even though I probably COULD write it out, I would probably just screw it up, and it would never match what was in my head.

But that didn't diminish the fact that I was ready to cap. So instead of building me up with a quicky, I just dove into Angel's cap. When I went searching for an image (btw, I'm still loving on http://fuskator.com/, and am starting my image searches there instead of Google Images), I found this:

I thought it was damned sexy! The fact that I can't see her eyes, lets me put a lot of different emotions into her facial expression. Lust? Horror? Desire? Fear? I could make them all work with the right words. Now it didn't exactly give me an idea for a story, but it worked with one that I had in the back of my head for awhile now. Going back in time to distract someone, and therefore change the 'present' and 'future'. I guess I got this idea from Stephen King's newer book "11/22/63" that I'm currently reading.

So I started to flesh out the idea. Eric in the 'present' is confronted by his future self. His future self tells him that he has the chance to change history... that he could go back to some horrible point in time (I didn't have a specific event in mind), and stop it from happening by distracting someone. But the only way to distract him was to give him what he truly wanted... a sexy lover.

Now for some odd reason, I pictured 'Eric' traveling back in time and taking the body of a woman that this person loved. He would take over his life and instead of spurring him, would make mad passionate love to him. But when I double checked Angel's preferences to make sure this would work, I realized that Angel doesn't like bodyswaps. Technically this wouldn't be a body swap, but he would be taking a woman's life over... and that's what Angel doesn't like.

So instead of modifying the idea, I just scrapped it. But I kept up with the images. As I looked at them, I thought that the series overall would make a very good loving story. The woman in the pictures looks like she is happy to be there... but at the same time the guy in the pictures just strikes me as an ass hole. Someone who looks like he is taking advantage of this girl.

So I started thinking of making it an oblivious style cap. I know Angel likes those. And if I could have selected a single image, I may have just done that. But I couldn't pick. I honestly felt that any of the images could work. And as I kept looking at the images the 'oblivious' idea I had started to change. What if Eric was trapped inside this willing beauty? What would he be thinking as this man (ah ha! not this man... his friend!), took advantage?

That got the engines running up into the read and for the next few hours I kept flipping between writing, and designing. I would get a line or two out of Angel's actions, then go into Photoshop and place some of the photos. I would then go back into Word and add Eric's thoughts to what I had written previously, only to go back into Photoshop and work on the background image. Back and forth, back and forth. This is a little odd for me, as I generally write large chunks of the story, then go through almost all the design work in one swipe.

But I think this disjointed style of writing worked... Eric's voice SHOULD sound disjointed. There is a scene going on around (and in) him that he really has no part of, leaving him to have half thoughts and expressions of disgust. The rest of the story was easy to pick up... it was just describing what I saw in the photos, telling how Angel adored her lover, and wanted to make him feel as good as he made her feel. And of course the last quote from Calvin, wrapping up the story (I actually wrote that quote early in the writing part, knowing that it would go last).

Ironically I never did use the image that started all of this. But even without it, I really like this cap. I hope Angel likes it as much as I liked creating it.

Oh, and just a quick aside... according to blogger I've only topped 100,000 page views in a month once. That was back in February of 2011. But I can now say that I've hit that mark twice. Last month all of you created 106,409 pageviews! Thank you all for reading or at least viewing the caps!

Its nice to find a company that stands behind their guarantee!

I swear I don't think I have been interrupted this many times while making a cap. After making "What Nichole Wants" this morning, I was in the mood to cap. I owed one to XtremeCSSA (also known as Kira), and I was really looking forward to diving in. The one thing that I really remember about Kira's preferences was she liked bondage. I recall that because I never feel like I've hit that particular preference hard enough.

So I went off to Google Images and looked around, but ended up disapointed. So I next went to fuskator and looked around there. Most of the bondage images were either video captures, or 'snapshot' style photographs. But when I saw this one, that didn't matter at all. I just loved the positioning and angle of the photo.

The rest of the series shows this girl being tied up in various positions around a gym, and that gave me a rough idea. I mean come on... gyms are always promising you the 'body you want!'. I know others have taken that path, but I figured I could write up something at least somewhat unique.

But at that point with just the image and a sliver of an idea, I heard the phone ring. I ended up spending about an hour on the phone. When I got back, it took me awhile to get back into the capping mindset. When I did, I started writing... and thats when I realized I hadn't actually read Kira's preferences in awhile. So I head over to the Haven, and see that Kira has almost nothing listed in her trading folder for prefernces. So I click on the link to look directly at the preferences she has in the database... but the link just sends me back to the home page.

So to figure out what names she prefers (I was thinking Kevin), I actually had to bring up one of my older caps that I made for her. With the name in mind, I start writing... and when I finish the first paragraph some company comes over. So I have to save my work, lock down the computer and entertain for awhile.

When I finally see my friends off and get back into capping... I get called away for a dinner date. When I get back and into capping, House comes on (and I rarely miss an episode of House). So I finally get back and finish the design tonight. About 12 hours after I expected to have it published.

Now this disjointed capping method made me a little wary. I normally have an idea of what I want out of a cap when I start. But the writing was interupted enough times that the story felt a little long. I didn't want to cut any of it, but it still feels long. And of course that long story means the design I had in my head wouldn't work. Sure, its just a matter of moving text boxes around, but I played with just that for about 30 minutes.

Hopefully Kira will like it.

Does cheating ever work out in a cap?

A fun quicky that I made up this morning. I had a vague idea yesterday about a guy cheating on his wife, not realizing that he ended up in the bed of her lesbian lover. Together his wife and her lover make him over using hypnosis, making him think that he wanted this to happen to himself.

It wasn't much of an idea, but it stuck with me. I probably would have made it yesterday, but I was just to tired, and couldn't string to sentences together. Sadly by the time I started on this today, most of the little details were gone. I just don't remember them. So for me, this is a ghost of a story.

I'm still happy with it, and I love the image I found, but its just not the story that I intended. Anywho... it did get my creative juices flowing. I'll probably be making at least one more cap today.

Kissing Lessons

Just a fun piece of fluff. After making smitty's "Stealing Masculinity", I went back to fuskator to look at some of the other images. Again there were plenty of beautiful images, but not many inspired a story. Until I came to these. The set of images involved two sets of twins dressed up in cowboy gear making out. But these two images where the girls were down to their tights reminded me of a story I recently read on fictionmania (I just hopped over there to find it, but couldn't duplicate my steps).

The story was of a guy tricked into enroling into a sissy school. The freshmen all wear one color, while the sophmores, juniors and seniors all wear different colors. While I was reading the story I thought that might be a fun universe to use. So when these images showed up, I went ahead and threw it into my own Mietje Jongen University (made originally in the cap "Mietje Jongen"). I didn't want it to be overly complex, but I did want to use the two images. Seeing as I only had a single paragraph for each panel, the layout was pretty set. The second panel had part of a logo left over, and I wanted the text box to cover it up. Seeing as I had the text box in the lower left on the second panel, I went ahead and followed that design in the first panel.

For what this is... fun fluff... I think its pretty good. Simple story, simple images, and simple background. Nothing new, but hopefully something fun!

Even Alpha Stud thief's can't win

So I owed smitty a cap. I have to admit I really like capping smitty. We share some of the same preferences, but she really likes the hardcore images. Its like a ticket to be as slutty and dirty as I want. So when I search images for her, I tend to go for fairly raunchy images. The only issue is that I really prefer to use studio quality images, and a lot (most) of the really hard core images are less than stellar looking.

But this time I vowed to find something that would please us both. I stumbled upon a great site... fuskator.com. It not only has some great hard core images, but they are all very large. So I spent quite a while there searching and enjoying it. I found a lot of great images to use, but they didn't inspire any stories... until I came across these ones.

The fact that the guy doing the fucking was just so damned hairy, in contrast to the gal's smooth skin made me think of him getting stronger and hairier every time he fucked her. So with the anal image as inspiration I went to writing. I let myself wander around while writing, and came up with something quite longer than what I expected. I could easily make this into two panels, but as I read the first half, I didn't exactly have a good image to use. So I looked around a bit (both at fuskator and google images) for a hairy guy fucking someone. That way I could edit the story a bit to fit the image, and I would have Dominic fucking the girl in the first panel, and Bubbles getting fucked in the second one.

But that was really a no go from the start. Sure there are a few images of hairy guys fucking, but none matched up with the quality of the anal image. While letting my mind wander I looked through the other images in the series, and realized that I could make one of these work. The anal shot doesn't really show off her face that much. So I picked the kissyblowjob pic. Now while I wrote it into the first half, it can also be seen as a precursor image... that its actually bubbles kissing Calvin's cock. Either way you see it, I think it works.

But like most of the times where I write first, and find an image second, it isn't as smooth as I would like. I mean its either an image that doesn't directly match the story in the first panel (bubbles kissing Calvin), or it matches up with the middle of the story in that panel. And I prefer for the image to match either the beginning or the ending of the story in a particular panel.

Also, I'm not sure how I feel about the text boxes. I'm not anal enough myself to require the boxes be exactly the same in each panel, but these are in the same position, but very different in size. I've used both positions before... having the text box be bigger than the photo like in the first panel, and having the text box be smaller than the photo like in the second panel. But I've never done them both in a series cap.

But take these small concerns out, and I have to admit that I really like the story. Its not all that original, but I think its different enough to sit on its own.

Issue #1

I wanted to give a shout out for a great cause.

Many who read my blog are aware that I got my start in capping at Rachel's Haven. This community hosts many artists creating caps of all kinds and sorts. It is a place that encourages people to explore their fantasies and share them with others. It is both a loving AND supporting community.

Like any large community there are costs involved. Rachel hasn't had an easy time as of late, and the costs are building up quickly. So several members got together and offered the idea of a eMagazine. This would be exclusive material from artists at the Haven. The Pageants

A requested Womanless Beauty Pageant cap, and its dark twin.

I received a 'question' from Alice very early this morning.

Would you consider a cap for a Womanless Pageant, my personal favorite then?

Instead of making this a standard 'question' post, I decided to go ahead and try my hand at a womanless beauty pageant cap. I've read a few, and admittedly they aren't my cup of tea, but I think the idea has the potential for a lot of variation.

So I started looking at beauty pageant photos. The first problem that cropped up is that most of the pageant photos that I looked at were of 'girls', and not women. By now you know that my mind tends to hang out in the gutter so I didn't like the idea of starting with that age group. I'm also not a fan of age regression to that young (love the man in his 40s heading back to college as a sexy coed though!). So I looked past these images, but another problem came up. Most of the obvious pageant photos where the woman was wearing a sash had an obvious name on it. 'Miss New York' or 'Miss Tennessee'. I could probably write around that, saying that it was the womanless Miss New York, but it didn't feel right. I could also Photoshop the writing out, but that wold take time, and I wasn't in that kind of mood.

So I ended up finding this image. From what I can tell its from some sort of movie event.But it looks like a pageant, just without the sashes. When I started writing, I was a little surprised that my initial reaction was to make Ellis a willing participant. While I was looking at images, I thought it was a great point for a humiliation theme. But no matter how I tried, I couldn't make that feeling stick. I couldn't even make the part of Alice dropping her panties to prove her manhood a good squirmy feeling.

But hey... I don't question where the story leads me. I just follow it. But after writing the story, and finishing up the design, I wondered.... Could I focus in on the humiliation of I really tried? So before posting it, I went back to the word document and started writing. My first impression was to just use the original story as a template, but whenever I made Ellis/Alice happy, I would throw in that she felt embarrassed or humiliated.

It soon became evident to me that that method wouldn't work. I had other considerations including 'Jenny'. So around the second paragraph I stopped 'editing' and began re-writing. And once I opened that bard door, there was just no stopping the humiliation stampede from coming out.

Now when I made the first caption I started with the brown background. I liked it a lot, but I didn't want to have two caps that looked identical. So I tried to make this second cap darker... but look at it. Its pretty dark as is. So I saved it, and re-opened the first cap, and went to make it 'lighter'. I didn't like the brown/tan that resulted from my first attempt, so I just colored each portion (the background, the overlaying background image, the text box, the text, and the title) purple. I liked it, but they were still too similar. A quick image invert, and sliding the boxes around almost did it. Changing the shadows to outer glows finished it.

Now I like the darker cap better, but I am a fan of the unwilling. I think both of the stories work though. Lemme know which you like better. And of course if its more than the willing/unwilling difference I would love to hear why.

[Question] Do you like gas masks?

This isn't what I had in mind when I said 'Masked'

While I have nothing against the gas masking loving public, I have to answer honestly. And honestly, no. I don't like gas masks.

Don't get me wrong, when it comes to warfare and protection I think a gas mask is just fine. I want everyone who needs a gas mask to have one, and for them to operate smoothly.

But considering what this blog is about, I assume that is not what you were asking. As far as fetishes go, gas masks do nothing for me. In fact, they take away from a girls face, which does quite a lot for me. For example, I find a woman's lips to be sexy as all giddyup. When I make the images for these question posts one of the small pleasures I take is coloring in her lips. In a way its as if I had a tube of lipstick in my hand and were applying it, taking a feminine sexy woman and making her even more feminine. Even more sexy.

And no matter what type of gas mask you are looking at, those darling little lips are covered up. Now I can imagine some scenarios where a gas mask would be... interesting. I'm picturing some man made over to look like a woman, and as a last bit of removing his identity, a gas mask is placed over his face. This would be the final item that completely obscures his masculinity leaving just his overly feminine body language to offer up any token resistance.

But even as fun as that sounds, the same could be accomplished with any style of mask.

These types of masks, at least to me, enhance her feminine nature. Or if used on a man, help create that feminine nature, where a gas mask hides both the masculine and feminine.

As I said earlier, I don't have anything against people that do like gas masks. Just as I hope that people that don't enjoy cross dressing, TG or transformations don't have anything against me. They are both powerful fetishes among many powerful fetishes that can exist alone, or in concert with each other.

All this talk of gas masks though, and of course all the flipping through images of women in gas masks got me thinking about how I would write a story about gas masks. This probably isn't what bowlsman had in mind when he asked the question, but here is what I came up with for a cap.

A Remote For Alexia

A girl just has to have her toys right?

This started out as just another cap in the style of "Some Things Are The Same". A picture that got me interested and told me a quick story. Nothing deep, nothing special. I figured what we had here was a cross dresser about half dressed in the bathroom, and her room mate comes home unexpectedly. I started to write the story with her hiding inside the shower, but when I looked at the image closer, I saw that she was standing outside of it (you can barely see the shower head behind the curtain).

So it wasn't exactly what I thought, but she can still be stuck inside the bathroom, just not the shower itself. I was about a quarter of the way through making it when I got called away from the computer. I saved my work (hey, this story didn't required a lot of thought, as its premise is straight out of a dozen or more caps, and many tg stories), and figured I would finish it up later.

But when I came back and looked at the image, I thought of something new to add. What if instead of just being afraid of being found out, she was afraid for another reason? Like her room mate was out in the living room and doing something that effected her in the bathroom?

That's where the idea of the remote came in. I'm actually happy about the interruption now, as otherwise this would be a dramatically different story.

Some Things Are The Same

And some things are a little different.

Not much to say about this one. I wanted to cap for the last few days, but I either couldn't find the time, or when I did get the time I just froze up. Now the freezing up isn't all that worrisome. I owe smitty a cap, and to be honest I like to give smitty good work. Not just that, but most of the caps I've made for smitty have been some of the most popular I've made since opening up this blog.

So that pressure is what was keeping me from writing freely. I decided today to just push that asside, and make a quick cap. I know smitty would understand. Humorously enough I searched for 'Sexy Ass' in Google images. This is one of the first to pop up, and I really liked it. The first thing I though of was what it feels like to have a pair of panties work its way between your cheeks. And since my recent purchase of some thong panties, I now know that feeling.

And yea... it does feel like your underwear when it works its way between your cheeks. Its not exactly the same, but close. So that inspired this quick story. I did go to the image source to see if I could find any other images in this series, hoping maybe to extend the story out a bit more. But when I went to the source it was another blog. The post had just this image and no words beyond the title, which was "Sexy Ass"

Probably a good thing they had their enemas!

Not a whole lot to say about this one. I originally intended to make something a little dirtier for the Haven Quarterly, but when I saw this image I just had to cap it. I immediately got the impression that these 'ladies' were hiding something more than some velvety lips. But the picture just wasn't all that dirty. Sexy? Yes. Dirty? No. So when I started writing, I tried to add a little XXX to the story.

But when it came to design it, I came across a couple problems. As I'm sure you all know (since you ALL have purchased the previous editions of the Haven Quarterly.... right!?) the format for the eZine is vertical rather than horizontal. No problem... I can go horizontal with it, and make it a half page right?

Well... no. The format for a half page is 720x468. By the time I got the image cropped down small enough and have a small border around it (proportionally smaller than this one), I didn't have much of the image left. Plus the story was long enough that it wouldn't be very legible. I didn't want to edit out two thirds of the story, so I decided that this just wasn't going to work.

I'm a little upset as I think it looks good enough to go in the eZine, but oh well. You get to enjoy it for free.

Speaking of the eZine. In case anyone is wondering, I plan on keeping the caps I made for it exclusive. The Haven's policy is set so that I can't post them until 2 editions come out after it. So technically I could post the cap (and the 'advertisements') I made for the first edition, as soon as this next one comes out. I know some cap artists intend to post their work so that they can get out to a wider audience, but I'm just not going to do that. Mainly because I made those caps to help out the Haven. If even one person buys a previous edition to see something that they can't see elsewhere, then I think its worth it.

So if you want to ever see "Sorority Scavenger Hunt", "Haven Pointy Bras", "Focus", or "The Technology Interview", then you'll just have to pony up some money and help out Rachel's Haven.

Somebody that I used to know

Don't worry.. there's a girl in the second panel.

This cap started by listening to the radio. I listen to the radio as I go to sleep. I normally hear one or two songs before I slide off to sleep, and most of the songs I hear are ones I'm familiar with. But occasionally I one comes along that I don't recognize. Now I'm slipping into the land of nod, so it doesn't always make a strong impression.

But last night while doing up the dishes, I turned on the radio and heard a song start up. Immediately my subconscious perked up and screamed that I loved this song. I'm always in the mood to add good music to my collection, so I dry my hands and rush out to grab my Android tablet. Using an app that identifies songs, I found out that I was listening to "Somebody That I Used to Know (feat. Kimbra)" by Gotye. To confirm that I had the right song, I pulled it up on youtube (by the way... I LOVE my tablet!). I didn't intend to watch the whole video, I just wanted to hear the song, and make sure it was the right one before I sent a note to my desktop (where I would buy it on iTunes).

But when the video came up, I was captivated. Its a simple enough concept, but as most people know, if something is simple, it has to be executed perfectly to be any good. And this was pulled off perfectly!

I sat there in the kitchen and watched the video and listened to this song about 5 times over. I was that enamored with it. Eventually I set it aside, finished up the dishes and went in to watch some Television. When I got back to my computer later that evening I saw the note I had sent from the tablet and immediately purchased the song from iTunes.

Now I"m not one to listen to lyrics. I tend to take the singer's voice and take it in as any other instrument. But when the male singer sung out 'But you didn't have to cut me off'' over the female singer's voice I felt chills. So I went ahead and looked up the lyrics.

Reading them while listening to the song made me think of a cap. It felt like a cap that was missing a few parts. Like looking at a document that has portions of it redacted. By the time I really considered making it a cap, I was getting tired.

Fast forward to this morning, and I knew I had to cap it. I took the more daring path... I wrote the entire story before I even considered an image. You see when I look at an image, it leads to the story. But this time I wanted very key parts in the story. The lyrics would stand as is... this wouldn't be like "Oh, Sweet Pea" where I changed the lyrics and made them the story. This would be a conversation between two people, where the lyrics were part of the conversation.

So I wrote it out hoping desperately that I could find an image to match it somehow. When I started searching for images, I didn't know exactly what I wanted. So I just started looking for 'sexy women'. I saw a great one of a girl with a phone to her ear, and I felt that it would work. Sadly it was an image from a stock photo company, and they are great at making images useless. It had a huge watermark over most of the photo, and when viewed full size, it was pixelated all to hell.

But.. that sent me off into an actual direction. I wanted a sexy woman with a phone. She could be at home, in an office, on a cell, or even just holding it... but I wanted that.

Oh Gods of inspiration... why do you taunt me so. I must have looked through hundreds (if not thousands) of images that had women on phones, but I didn't feel that a single one would work. I wasn't ready to let go though, so I kept changing up the exact search terms hoping to find 'THE' image.

And after hours, I gave up that ghost. It just wasn't going to happen. I couldn't find a photo with a woman involving a phone that had the right expression on her face. She needed to be somewhere between sad/contemplative/angry/resigned. Most of the images where happy, and that just wouldn't work for the story.

So I went back to 'sexy women' and looked. And looked. And looked. I finally came up with an image of a woman wearing headphones. She was drop dead sexy and would work perfectly.

O.k.. thats a lie. It wouldn't be perfect, but hey, it wouldn't completely clash with the story! Here is what I came up with:

Two problems came up quickly. One, I had already started with a fairly large canvas. This is 1300x1100. And it still didn't fit the entire story. I was hoping to shrink it down some when I got the whole story in, but when I gave that a try, the text wasn't as legible as I wanted. And to get enough room to fit, I figured I would need to either take the horizontal out to about 1500 or 1600 pixels (making readers scroll the damn thing back and forth to read the story), or take the vertical up to 1400. Making it tall would be... o.k... but the design would suck. It would be almost all text, with only the lower left corner having any graphics.

I must have mulled this over for about an hour. Playing with the font, the font size, the canvas size... but nothing worked. I knew what I needed, but I was getting frustrated.... I needed a second image. The image that I'm using is from some desktop wallpaper site, so there wasn't anything that matched it.

So I looked for a bit hoping to find a guy with a headset on. I really don't know how that would vibe with the story, but at least the pictures would match. But I just didn't get inspired with any of the ones I found. And even if I did, I knew I would have a hell of a time matching their backgrounds up. You see the gradation that is in this one, IS the background of the girl. So either the guys background would be completely different, or I would spend a long time cutting out both 'him' and 'her' so that I could lay in a matching background to both.

So I threw my hands up in the air and went back to square one. I was looking for an image that would match this story in practically ANY way. The only caveat was that it had to be part of a series so that I could snag two images to use.

While looking I came across a sexy image of a woman riding a bike. It as small, a single image, and didn't match the story in any way, but it was sexy. So I took a few moments to rip out a quick fun cap "Love Hate". Feeling how easy it was to make that cap told me that I had no business working this hard for this cap. I loved the story, but it just wasn't working. So I started to save what I had, and close down all the windows that I had open.

When I came to the Google image search window, I saw that I was last looking for "Sexy Man Woman Phone" (odd that it came up with the woman on the bike, but I don't question the Google Gods). I knew I wouldn't find anything, but I scrolled down a bit more.... and found this:

Sure.. it was a single image. But I could split this couple up and have two images. It was large enough that I could play with it, and it had a blank background making it fairly easy to add something in the background (and simply fade it out as it got close to the people).

I couldn't believe it. After hours (close to 6 hours at this point), and actually giving up, I found the image!!

By the way, since I sat down and started writing the cap, I've had that song playing in the background. I just got the song last night and according to iTunes I've now listened to it 96 times! But back to the cap....

With this image, it was easy easy to step back to an earlier design, and push it out. Once I got all the text in place, I decided against putting a 'design' in the background and opted for a simple gradation. I really wanted the focus to be on the story, and I figured any design that I could work in, would be at least a little distracting.

I wouldn't say this is my best (or even really that good of a) design. I wouldn't say that this is my best (or even really that good of a) story. And I certainly wouldn't say that this was easy, either writing or designing. But I had a blast doing this, and I'm happy with the results.

Love Hate

Something quick, simple and sexy as all get out.

This cap surprised me. I'm working on another lyric style cap that currently has me vexed. I won't got into those details as I'll try to explain when I finish and post that cap. But I find myself searching and searching for images that will work for it (yeah yeah yeah... I wrote a story before finding images), and come across this pretty lady. She didn't work for the cap I'm working on, but she did speak to me..

I didn't get a story from looking at it, just a single line. "Calvin Hated the stares he got, but Caitlyn just Loved her bike seat!" I knew I could cap that in no time. But when I pulled it into Photoshop the text just didn't look right. And I found myself wondering to much about what happened. When I added more, I tried to keep it short and quick. I didn't want to get sucked into a story, and wanted to leave the reader with a chuckle. Once I had some, I realized that it would be a nice play if I made the text almost mirrors. Making each statement for Calvin and Caitlyn just about equal length.

Boom. I liked it. I played a bit with the background, but I wanted it to match the simplicity of the story, and the layout. Even the title only got a little flair. This may never go down as my magnum opus, but I certainly like it!

Let me start out by saying I am an ardent supporter of Copyright, and feel that companies should be able to protect their copyright. I honestly believe the INTENT of SOPA and PIPA are valid, but they use draconian measures to do so.

Both SOPA and PIPA go far beyond protecting ones copyright. In a nutshell, they make others protect their copyright. And if these others don't protect them? Then they are punished. I don't feel that I am the best person to explain how bad these proposed bills are, so I will simply link to some more information.

When I first heard about SOPA and the protest against it, I thought it was simply a bunch of people that wanted to continue to steal their computer programs, music and movies. But when I read more, I saw just how bad these bills are.

And before you think it... yes. I break copyright myself. I post images that I find online, and manipulate them to fit into my caps. And if Brazzers, or any copyright holder were to contact me I would gladly remove any images that they asked me to. If they decided to sue me... well I would be righteously sued. But these bills ask Google to do that for them. Google points to me. I am breaking copyright. Google can be punished for pointing to me.

Do you really think that any search engine would point to me or any other cap blog if these bills passed? It doesn't matter that I do not intend any harm to anybody. It doesn't matter that I don't make a penny off of my caps. They could still be held liable for linking to me.

So in this overly simplified example, I hope you can see just how bad SOPA and PIPA are. But don't take my word for it.. read the links I gave above and make up your own mind.

Closer Than Before

Hard Core Lovin!

I had a cap owed to greatgooglymoogly and I have to admit that I was kinda excited to make it. You see Googs and I role play over at DX, and recently we've been involved together in a scene where my character has Googs' character as a slave for 24 hours. It has been an absolute blast to play it out, and I think I'm coming closer to some buttons to push for Googs.

Now admitedy I didn't use all of these buttons, because while I believe that she likes them, they are a little different than her listed preferences. For instance we both enjoyed part of the scene when I had her up on stage, giving out oral sex to all comers. Her 'customers' ended up being two guys and one girl. But in her preferences she lists that she prefers lesbian sex. And in her preferences she doesn't really talk about wanting to be enslaved, while also mentioning that she enjoys having the transformation bring her and her girlfriend/wife closer together.

So I found the image in the 2nd panel and started working from that. Her expression is halfway between happy and upset, so I played with that for a bit. I quickly realized that the story I had building could easily spill over to more than one panel, so I went back and looked at the rest of the series. I chose the first one as I think it helped establish the story. Plus her expression was less happy, and I wanted to move from her being upset about the change, to being happy about it.

I got the first panel done, and moved onto the second. But while I liked what I wrote for it, I didn't have a good ending. I wanted 'Nick/Daphne' to end up understanding why 'Becca' was doing this, and I just ran out of space. Thankfully Googs likes series, so I went back to the images and picked out this last one. Now to be honest, I didn't like this as the final image. Its nice, but its also very similar to the first. But the only other option that I had was this:

I like the expression, but I don't like the 'action' going on. I didn't want to make 'Daphne' a cuckold, but rather make her a girl that loves her girlfriend Becca. So I chose the path of least resistance and went with the image in the third panel.

Commenting Issues

Blogger made us better again... and I can't fix it this time!

O.k.... this is more or less a continuation from my previous Question post. Someone sent in a question asking why they couldn't get the images to full size. I made the post assuming they were having problems with the "Lightbox" method not displaying the full image. So I went ahead and wrote up how to do it.

But at the end of the post, I wanted to make sure I got the correct wording from Google Chrome (the browser I use the most), Firefox and Internet Explorer. I would have got Opera and Safari too, but I don't have those browsers installed. But when I went into my blog in IE, I found the issue.

It seems that if you are using Internet Explorer to read my blog (as well as several other blogs), that when you click on a post, it starts to load, then displays a blank white page. Upon further investigation, I found out that this only happens to posts with comments.

That helped me search out for problems with blogger, Internet Explorer, and comments. And boy... its a problem alright. It seems that blogger recently gave us all an 'upgrade' so that people could respond to specific comments. I've seen it on a few blogs, and while its kind of nice, I don't really care about it one way or the other.

Except that blogger is getting flooded with requests for help. It seems that this new shiny feature broke a lot of blogs. And the problems are all over the place. Some blogs just stopped existing, while others accept the comments, but never show them. I did see several with the same problem I'm having. It works just fine in most browsers, but not IE.

There is a workaround. Right now when you click to add a comment, you can do it right in the page. If I turn that feature off, and make it so that adding comments takes you to an entirely different page, then returns you after you make your comment, then IE works just fine. But I find that terribly frustrating.

So I'm left with two options. Make everyone jump through some hoops to post a comment to my blog, or block out IE users from reading any post that has already been commented on. Now while writing this up, I was dead set to just block out IE users. I am fairly sure that blogger will have this fixed soon. But the more I write and the more I think about it, I can't just flip off 25% of my audience. Sadly not many people comment, so instead of flipping off 25% of my audience, I'm forced to flip off my vocal readers.

So to everyone that comments... I'm sorry but I have to ask you to take a few extra steps. I'll keep trying things out, and looking for better solutions, but until its fixed for everyone, it will have to remain this way.

I just wish I could figure out what the real problem is. I loaded up IE (ick) and visited the blogs that are listed to the right. Most blogs worked fine, but I specifically had the same issue on Dee's, Sacha's, sp2000's, Samntha deSavory's Geofrey's, and Trisha's blogs.

To those bloggers that want to fix this, follow me:

Get into your dashboard, and click on 'Settings'. Click on 'Posts and comments'. Underneath the 'Comments' Header you'll see the option for 'Comment Location'. In the drop down to the right of that select 'Full Page'. Once you've done that click on 'Save settings' in the upper right and you are done.

Its been awhile since I've had a question. Long enough that I actually had to check a previous question post just to see how I formatted it! I did recieve a couple questions last month, but they were both "Type in your Question here!"... which means someone simply hit the 'Submit' button without typing anything in. Trust me ladies, I would love nothing more than for you to submit to me... but it requires a little more effort on your part!

Anywho... onto the question. I assume that you are trying to get the caps and pictures posted in them to be full size. As I'm not sure why you can't get them full size, I'll walk you through the process. If this still doesn't work for you, you'll have to let me know where your path diverges from mine.

Starting from the main page of the blog, you have to click into the post. You can do this by either clicking on the post title, or the image of the cap:

Clicking either of those will pull you into the post. Once there, you'll see two images of the cap. Once smaller, just under the post title, and one larger underneath. If you click on the smaller one, you will just reload the page, as it is a link to the post. You have to click on the larger one:

Now Blogger has a built in effect that will pull the image up in a slide show style that looks like this:

This is a beautiful way to display images IF they fit. Most of my caps, however, won't fit in the space provided. So I used a work around (described here) so that when you click on the image you should get the full image. The only problem, is that you have to have just a little patience. If you click it as fast as you see it, then you'll still get the slideshow style presentation. The frustrating part of this presentation though is that there isn't a way to get from here, to the full sized image. If you click on the image, it will simply cycle through to the next image in the post. (Later in the post, I'll show you how to go around this on other blogs). On my internet connection, it takes about 2 seconds, but can take longer depending on your connection speed and the length of my post. If you wait a few seconds before you click it, you'll be rewarded with a view similar to this:

This is a direct presentation of the jpg itself. If your screen resolution is high enough (like mine is here), it will show the full image. But if the image is bigger than your browser window it will be shrunk to fit. I'll show that on one of my 'taller' caps, as this one fits fine in my window, and therefore isn't a good example:

This cap is 'taller' than my browser window. When I clicked on its thumbnail it came up in this view, showing me the entire image. to make it show full size, all you have to do is click the image again. It then should look like this:

This is showing the image full size. As its taller than my browser window, it adds the scroll bar to the side. This is how I intend for my caps to be viewed. When I'm designing it, I make sure the text is easy to read in this format. If you view it any other way, the text may not be easily read.

So on my blog here (and several other blogs like mine) that is how to view the picture full size. But there are other blogs out there, that haven't taken the steps that I did to let you click through to the full jpg. If you find yourself at one of these blogs, all you have to do is right click on the image, and select "Open link in new tab" (in Google Chrome or Internet Explorer), or "Open Link in New Tab" (in Firefox).

Sadly, just now I think I realized why I got this question. When I went into Internet Explorer to make sure I got the right wording, I found a problem. It seems that when you (or least when I) click on a post in IE, I get a blank page. I'm now assuming that the person that asked this question, is experiencing this. Sadly, that means he won't be able to read this post.

Sooooo... Now that I've put about an hour into making this, I'm going to go ahead and put up this useless post, and look further into this.

UPDATE: I went to the original site where I found the workaround, and they had posted an updated version of the script. I put the script into my page, and using Internet Explorer, I can now view this post. But strangely enough... ONLY this post. Any other post starts to load, then goes to a complete blank white page.

Sooooo.... I'll keep working on this, and hopefully the person that asked the question, can view THIS post, and will consider moving to Google Chrome or Firefox. Both are fine web browsers with nice privacy features. If I had to recomend one, I'd go with what I use for 90% of my browsing experience, and that's Chrome. It is very fast, and does almost everything very well.

UPDATE: A little more exploring, and I found that Blogger added an option to have the lightbox effect. For any bloggers out there that want to simply disable the lightbox effect, you can go into your dashboard, click on 'Settings', click on 'Posts and Comments', and select 'No' in the dropdown box next to 'Showcase images with Lightbox'.

Once I clicked on that and saved the setting, I also removed the script. In both Chrome and Firefox, the blog runs smoothly. Sadly, in IE I am still getting the blank page on every post except for this one. I'm going to let this sit for a couple hours, and see if removing the script and opting out of the Lightbox effect, takes some time to really get into gear. If the script isn't/wasn't causing the problem, then I might be in trouble.

UPDATE: I figured out this problem. Its big (and frustrating enough) to warrant its own post.

No More Stealing for Ronald

Hypnosis used for good!

So as I said in my write up for "ReLive Vacations", I had a very basic idea of an idea for Steffi. That idea was that Ron was a younger guy, and desired to be a girl. But he was conflicted about his own feelings. He would love them, and hate them in equal measure. So in steps the sister, who lovingly changes him into what he wants.

Now my mind doesn't always flow along these lines. You know me... I want unwilling... I want forced... I want hardcore. So that part of my mind kept pushing its way in, and kept trying to trip it up. And some of those darker ideas are still here, but I tried my best to keep this an awww style loving cap.

Now what I needed was a picture. I found a nice little site that has some beautiful photographs for computer wallpapers. Here are a couple I looked at before settling on the woman with the headset:

I love this image. But what I love about it... her expression... doesn't fit that loving feeling. She looks more upset, or afraid to me. I might come back and make a darker cap based on this image, as I keep hearing Morpheuss voice from the Matrix "Pick the pink cocktail and you'll stay a woman. Pick the Blue cocktail and you'll fall in love with the next man you meet"

This one was a little more up the alley I wanted. But when I tried ti think of why she was sitting outside... my mind just came up with a big blank. She's cute, she seems happy (or at least happy enough), there are details to use in the background (tree, outside, bike...)... but no story came to mind. And certainly not a variety of what I already had in mind.

Thankfully I did find the one I used. I didn't do much to it besides cropping it down. The background was just straight black, so I wasn't even obscuring anything, and had plenty of room to cover it up. And with this image, the idea of hypnosis came up. I mean come on... doesn't she just look like she's being hypnotized? So now I just had to put it into story form.

The first draft went... well again, it went dark. Ron's sister caught him stealing panties, and forced him through hypnosis to become a girly sissy. Yea, it was nice and I got a little thrill out of it, but just as Steffi went darker than she normally does on "Puppet" for me (and if you haven't read that, then go over and read it NOW!), I wanted to go lighter than I normally do for her. Plus, these are creative wings that I rarely get to stretch out. Also after reading Steffi's "Manifesto" I wanted to touch upon that. How would her life be if this DID happen to her.

I did, however, keep the format of 'Tammy' talking to someone else. In my head I pictured it being a friend of Tammy's, but I left that up to you the reader. Mainly because it wasn't in the first draft, and I was already cutting pieces out, so I just didn't have room to put something in. But hey... if you read this and saw that mysterious voice as Ron's buddy, then so be it.

I didn't bring anything new design wise to this. But before I even had the story written, I had this laid out. My only problem was all that blank black space around her head. It came to me pretty quickly to use the same thing I did in "Win Win" as that cap seemed to be pretty popular. But instead of it being Tammy's voice talking to Mandy, it's the subliminal messages.

I don't know how the story will go over, as I'm not the best judge at warm hearted stories, but I like it.

ReLive Vacations

So what would YOU do on your vacation?

Really this is just a piece of fluff. I hadn't done something really dirty (picture wise) in a while, and wanted to just make a good classic punch in the gut visceral cap. And since the only person I owe a cap to is Steffi, I didn't want to make something like that for her. In fact I have a very basic idea in the back of my head for her cap, and as she went very serious and dark in the cap she made for me, I am going to go very fun and light in the cap for her.

The original idea I had for this was a vacation where you perform as you want, then swap bodies to re live it out. So picture wise, I was imagining two images of a blow job. One of them the woman would be really into it and enjoying it, while the other was a more 'oh no' type expression. It would have been a couple where the woman signed up for the vacation with her boyfriend/husband unaware of what would happen later.

But while searching for those images, I came across this one. And man... what an image. I couldn't even go past it. It wasn't what I wanted as it was a single picture, with no other images in the series available. So I had to rejigger the concept a bit. And actually I think it added a little more 'punch in the gut'. Its one thing for your girlfriend to trick you, but quite another when you are hoisted by your own petard.

Anyway... nothing really special here. Read. Squirm. Move on.

Career steps can be fun!

So next up on my list at the Haven is wraithstrike. Wraithstrike has what I consider a pretty good set of preferences. She isn't shy about saying what she likes and dislikes, but her tastes are pretty varied. My only issue is that she prefers cleaner caps (PG13-R). Thankfully she also likes a good story to go with her caps. Making a longer more detailed story would have been perfect a year ago when I was writing longer and longer stories. But now a days I'm shying away from that. I prefer now to set the mood, and give the reader enough details to fill in the blanks.

I think on this attempt, I split the difference. Its a much shorter story than I would write a year ago, but longer than I do now. When I started, I looked over wraith's preferences. I especially focused on her 'Deeper Fantasies' and liked the idea of becoming a dress model. But the photo I had in mind (a woman getting her dress altered as she was wearing it) was a little more difficult to find than I thought it would be. There were quite a few out there, but most of them looked like they were taken with a camera phone.

So I opened up the search to include the runway, hoping to find a 'behind the scenes' photo set. Low and behold I found just such a set. It was behind the scenes at some fashion show. But when I looked at the images, there weren't any of the models getting dressed. Most of them were makup.

And as I was looking at these, the basic idea for this story came to mind. It was simple.... guy goes to seamstress to help out his girlfriend, gets coralled into trying on the dress, comes back to work as a seamstress model, gets transformed to do the job better, and pursues a career as a runway model. That way the picture of a model getting her makeup put on would work, and I could still write the story to fit into wraithstrike's deeper fantasies.

A couple images caught my fancy:

Love the look on her face, but I'm not quite sure didn't love what the makeup artist was doing. Plus the background was a little busy without adding to the story.

Almost there. My only problem with this, is that her hair doesn't look better. Sure it could be before her hair gets done, and I probably would have used it that way, if I didn't find the next image.

Now that's the expression I was looking for! Her hair is better, her expression could be used both as willing AND unwilling... Mmm... it was almost perfect! The only problem I had was the lipstick color. I didn't think that the purple shade they were using was quite the way I wanted to go.

So I pulled the image into Photoshop and tired to manipulate the color. I had limited success... I couldn't quite get it to look distinctive enough from her regular lip color while staying in the red spectrum. So while I had no intention of using a black and white image, I just went with it. That way I could color just the area of her lips that are covered. And voila! I had my image.

I had to crop the image fairly close and then flip it to get enough room for the way I wanted the text boxes to lay. But I think it looks pretty good and works with the story.

Under The Flower

Would you want your flower taken?

I really think three caps a day is just about my limit. I had found this photo while looking for an image to use for Dani's cap "Pregnancy is a lot of Work". I loved the photo, but it didn't speak to me at first. Only when I went back close the window did it give me an idea.

The creation of this was a lot like "Please Wake Up" in that it was a shorter idea that I fleshed out, as opposed to a more complex idea that I would have to trim down. I was even thinking of Mistress Simone, but I didn't think this quite fit her. More of an alternate Mistress Simone that outsources her work. And I guess my mind was in a similar place when I went to design it, as it has a similar feel to it.

This is the full color image that I started with:

Gorgeous. I could and did just stare at this image for quite awhile. I wasn't thinking of a cap, or some story to go with it.. I was just enjoying it. What really got me is that even though this is a nearly nude woman, I don't see it as an overtly sexual image. Its just feminine beauty. Another that I considered using from the same set is this:

I briefly considered writing a longer story just so I could utilize it, but I decided against it.

Now initially when I went to a black and white image, I knew I would be pulling the flower out as a point color. But there is just something about coloring a girls lips. Yea I know, its Photoshop... its not like I'm taking some lipstick and gently brushing it over her quivering lips... but it still gets me. The only problem is that her lips are red. I had already altered her eye color (her pale grey eyes didn't stand out when I used the original color on the black and white) and didn't want to mess around with the color of her lips. Here is what I had:

A nice image and looking at it helped me write up the story. But design wise it was a nightmare. I kept flipping around on the background image. I started with a light ethereal look, but it made the dark background in the image stand out. So I went with a far darker background that made our beautiful girl stand out instead. But every time I went to add a color, something was wrong. If I went red/pink, then the flower looked wrong. If I went blue, then her lips and flower looked wrong. Green was just awful. And orange didn't work either. It was really frustrating, and at one point I had a blue background, dark red text boxes, with orange text. Ewwwww.

Thankfully my brain kicked in with the old adage; KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid!). Make here eyes green, and make her lips orange/peach. Now I could focus on those colors. It was an easy choice to go orange in the background, as green was just a little too cooling of a color. Orange on the other hand warmed it up a good deal.

But as I started by saying... I think three is the limit. I find this to be very derivitve of "Please Wake Up". I even had the title as black, with only a glow defining it. I changed it to a solid color JUST to avoid it being to similar. Maybe if I had tackled this earlier... or saved it for tomorrow... it would be better. But after all the work I put into it, I'm done with it. I like it... but I'm done with it.

And our girl Kimber loves to work!

So Davewashere25 (Dani or Kimber over at the Haven) had recently made me a very nice caption. I have to admit that I was pretty excited to get back into trading, as working within someone's preferences is a whole lot different than just looking at an image and whipping up a story for it.

Now I've made a few for Dani before, but I think I missed the mark. She is gracious and likes pushes that her preferences are just that... preferences. She likes many caption types. but I don't feel that I'm doing my best if I don't get closer to her preferences. So I read them over a little more carefully.

The first thing that I didn't really hit on with my earlier attempts was her prefered body type. She likes small petite girls, where I like mine a quite a bit more curvy. So searching for an image wasn't just a matter of me looking for something I liked. Now I had intended to get an XXX picture as Dani likes those. But when I saw this image... wow, I just had to cap that expression.

When I popped it into Photoshop and started writing, the first thing to comes out was "Hiding her giddy smile was the hardest part". Now Dani isn't all about voluntary caps. She likes a mix of fighting the pleasures of her new body. So where I would normally look at this photo and play up the dread, I instead worked into the story that she was actually hiding her pleasure.

The rest of the story really came from that. I just needed to set up HOW she got into that body, and WHY she wanted to hide the fact that she was happy. I turned out quite a bit longer than my newer caps, but I figured I could make it fit.

Always check out what you see in the mirror!

This rarely happens to me. I sit down at the computer with absolutely no intention to make a cap. In all honestly I was going to play a game and do some mundane web browsing. But I have my start page as 'iGoogle' where you can have several gadgets. I have one for the top news stories, one for my email, one for the recent lotto numbers, and one for the 'Interesting Photo of the Day' from Flickr. I have been inspired to cap from a couple photos, but that normally happens when I am already in the mood to cap. Not out of the blue, like this photo.

When I saw it, the story hit me like a ton of bricks. Guy wakes up half hungover and still half asleep and doesn't notice the changes until he look at himself in the mirror. It was such a strong instinct that I snagged the photo, tossed it into Photoshop, opened up Word and started typing. On a lark I threw the name Niels in, intending it to be placeholder (I have such a hard time deciding upone male and female names when it isn't made for someone in particular and I don't want to use Calvin/Caitlyn again). And before you wonder how the name Niels entered my head, it's the masculine name for Martha. But as the story drew out, I realized this was right in Martha's preferences. So why not just leave the name and give it to her, as obviously she was lurking in my subconsciousness.

I noticed after I posted it that I didn't explain what was in my head. I'm sure it won't bother many people, but just to explain I figured Neils was living with his girlfriend Martha. The 'old hag' he yelled at was a gypsy and she cursed him to look like the woman he had wronged figuring it he would end up looking like her. But as he had just made out with a cute co-ed (cheating on his girlfriend) he ended up looking like her. Like Martha.

This cap won't win any prize, but for me it will always be special. I completed it from seeing the photo, to posting it at the Haven in less than 15 minutes. That is an all time record for me!

Girls Don't Kiss Each Other

I was in a capping mood, but I was also hanging out at DX. While searching for an image to spark an idea, two of the girls in the chat joked how they were talking about baseball. In other words they had just gotten to 'first base' in a private chat. Thankfully this image popped up, and a quick story came to me. It wasn't much... two guys see a couple of girls making out, complain that girls shouldn't kiss each other, then get transformed by a nearby spirit/witch/gypsy/genie into two girls. They immediately pounce upon one another and have to stay that way until they learn something.

The story wasn't anything special, so when I started to write it, I firmly put my tongue in my cheek and tried to write it humorously. I left gist of the story in a serious way, but I wanted people to still get a chuckle. And as I've always found it a little odd that people run into witches and gypsy's every day, I figured I would give our gypsy fortune teller a good job at a mall kiosk. And we have all seen those kiosks that sell everything under the sun.

So I got to writing. The story that I wrote in the first take is basically what you see here. When I was sliding it into the design, I did have to add a bit to the last paragraph to make it long enough to sit over the edge of the photo, and not just under it. That just looked wrong.

Oh, and since the girls at DX helped inspire the image I took went ahead and used their names. This isn't really personalized toward them, as I don't know their exact preferences, nor their preferred male names, but I figured they might get a kick in seeing their names here.

Lessons on how to be an Alpha Male

Learning how to be an Alpha is hard work!

So after finishing up "Please Wake Up" and "Day Seventeen" I was still in the mood to cap. And as I said before, I try never to ignore that feeling. I also remembered that I had started a cap for realfield. After the 'Keeping it Real' week on her blog, I felt that I should make up for the less than stellar cap I made for her before ("Read the Instructions First"). Not just that, but she had also turned me on to the idea of Alpha Males. I had read stories involving the concept before... but they honestly didn't do much to me.

Now the only thing I had done to 'start' this cap was find this image, and have the vague idea of a guy who thinks he is good at picking up girls confronting an Alpha male and demanding to know his secret.

So I pulled up the image, and started laying out the design. I started here as I wasn't sure how long this rush of capping would last, and I didn't want to over or under write it. I figured I could fill the three corners with text with three longish paragraphs. So I cleared out Word and started writing. I liked what I had written, and plugged it into the design. I added the title, and background image... but something seemed wrong.

After looking at it for a bit, I realized that having the three corners filled made it very unbalanced. It was top and bottom heavy. Cutting the story down was a pain... I basically had to lose a third of the text. But unlike my recent experiences, I wasn't married to the entire story. I liked the beginning (since its the idea that got me going) and the ending (since it is basically describing the image). So I had to cut the middle out.

Now this isn't as easy as just deleting the paragraph, as it did contain some themes that I wanted to keep. So I pared down the first and last paragraphs, and shoehorned some of the ideas from the second paragraph in.

If you are curious, here is the original story:

I never should have asked. But every time I targeted some hot babe to go after in the bar, there wasJames moving in on her. With his body,charm, and confidence, I was never able to hold the woman's attention. And frankly it was pissing me off. So one night I walked up to James and askedhim my secret. He must have stared at mefor a full five minutes. And when hefinally spoke, I was just thankful that he wasn't about to beat me to apulp. He said he would show me how hedid it, but that I would have to do everything he said. I could only nod, and he quickly grabbed myarm, shoved me into his sports car and drove me to his house.

He just said that the only way I could really understandwhat he was doing was to show me what the women experienced. The lessons took along time. I'm not sure if it was amonth, or an entire season. But each daywe he would show me one of his secrets. He showed me how wrapping his big arms around a woman made me feel warmand safe. The next night he showed mehow cupping a woman's face would convey his adoration for them. Then how brushing his lips across theirswould get them excited. How moving herhand to his chiseled chest showed her that he was truly and Alpha Male.

To get the most out of each lesson, I had to make some sacrifices. I had go to the salon and get amakeover. I had to grow my hairout. I had to get implants. I had to wear a corset to get my curvesright. Tonight was my last lesson. As he pushed his cock into my new pussy, Ifinally understood it all. I understoodthat I could never make a woman feel this way. With James' hands on my curvy smooth ass I now knew that I would never beSteve the Alpha Male. I would forever beBunny, the Alpha Males lover.

About the only part I left out that I feel bad about is the list of early lessons. No, its not needed, but I thought it added a bit of squirm factor. Just imagine yourself going through those lessons... a big old Alpha Stud hugging you over and over. Then a day of him cupping your face. Then a day of him brushing his lips across yours. Yea... you'd start to feel like a woman too!

But I think the cap stands up better without the extra text, and I don't regret the cut.

Day Seventeen

Just some fun fluff

So while I was looking for images to use in "Please Wake Up" I came across this image. I loved her pose, as if she was both showing off her body, and yet trying to hide it. I loved her expression of patient anticipation. I loved the lighting and the black and white (no, I didn't steal the color from this one). And I loved the fact that she was out in some apparent farm yard.

But after looking at it for a few minutes, no idea for a story came to me. So I kept looking and finished up with "Please Wake Up". When I was finished, I went about my normal post cap routine. Save the cap(s) one last time, close Photoshop, close Word, and close each tab in Google Chrome.

And lo and behold, this image was till open in a tab. Just as I placed the pointer over the little X to close it, this idea came to me. This person (sissy? shemale? man? woman?) was slowly transformed. Just a little change each day. This was well into the process, and she (he?) was told to wait for the farm hands to come in from the field, showing herself off.

I went from no idea, to that idea in just a few seconds. And while I had a headache coming on and wasn't really in the mood to cap again, I just couldn't resist writing up the story.

So I opened up word, moved the browser over so I could her peeking out behind the word processor, and started typing. It wasn't the smoothest writing I've ever done, and I ended up doing a lot of in process editing. And to be honest, I'm not entirely happy with the story. But I felt that it got the gist of what I was trying to convey. I purposefully left it ambiguous as to how our little lady friend here felt about the process, and that's where a lot of the editing came in. You see every other sentence was either an expression of how happy and excited she was, or how embarrassed and humiliated she was. And both sentiments worked. So I kept taking them out and figured I would add one or the other in.

But when I got done and read it from start to finish I couldn't decide. So I left them out, and hopefully you readers will be able to put your own spin on her feelings.

Simone helps those who help her!

Yesterday I was in a capping mood, but nothing good came from my efforts. I ended up spending the day in front of the television enjoying my new Netflix streaming subscription and watching some football.

On a side note... Damn it Big Ten! Why can't you win more than one game on your New Years Day Bowls!!!!

Anyway, I tried to go to bed early, and ended up reading for like 4 hours. I woke up this morning tired, and figured this wouldn't be a good capping day. But hey... I've had some recent luck capping when I'm not necessarily in the mood, so I fired up google images and hoped that I would be inspired. I quickly found this image:

The first thought that came to mind was adding just a very little bit of text. Something like "Wake up darling... your transformation is finished!"

It wouldn't be detailed at all, and I liked that idea. But as I pulled it into Photoshop, my mind kept moving... it kept adding all those little delicious details that get my motor running. After my experience with "Chauvinistic" however, I was afraid of writing to much. I mean if I added even half of my ideas, I would need more pictures, and we all know how unlikely it is to find great image sets!

But lady luck was evidently smiling down on me, as I found just that. I found nearly the entire set for this image. So I let many of the ideas come out. But as I was writing, I realized that I was writing this for someone. Specifically for Mistress Simone. I also realized that these ideas kind of fell into two categories; Dark and Domineering, and Loving and Pleading. After pausing a bit to read through them, I felt that I liked the Loving and Pleading ones better. It was just more sensual. So I took out the darker comments, and focused on the more loving ones.

About halfway through, I also realized that this could almost be two caps in one. Yes, it was primarily about Simone getting transformed, and then repaying that kindness. But obviously she is transforming somoene... so why not let that be another capper. As this wouldn't be customized for this person in particular I just decided to use Dee. I think maybe it was just the dark, moody gothic style that sent me in that direction.

Anyway, after I got the story done I started the design work. I liked the story, so I figured a simple design would be good. I picked out a background that would work figuring I would color it in to match the image later. I then added the title and threw the outer glow effect with the same idea... that I would just change the color later.

But when I had the text, text boxes and glows all in, I realized I liked the starker background. The only problem was that the images were so powerful that they didn't quite fit:

I felt that the image was far overpowering the story. So I started by making the image pure black and white:

It was closer to what I wanted, but now it felt a little cold. Without any color, it had lost some of that sensual edge. And almost every time I want to add sensuality to an image, I let if focus on a woman's lips. So it was an easy choice to let the lips shine out in these images.

I think the finished product is exactly what I was aiming for (even if I didn't know it when I started). I have to admit that I get such a high after playing with a a cap and coming up with something like this. It wasn't exactly intentional, but I can't say it was accidental either.

Chauvinistic Re-Mixed

Not a new cap, but some alternate designs.
If you are looking for a new cap, then I'm sorry to say that I don't have one for you. Instead this is just some alternative designs inspired in part by comments in the original "Chauvinistic"

To catch up people that haven't read the original post, I started working on a design for this cap, but wasn't really happy with it. This is about as far as I took it (it was nowhere near done), before going into a different direction:

Instead of tweaking it to make it work, I abandoned the idea of using my newer layout, and went with an older layout. This is what I posted as the finished product:

I wasn't entirely happy with it, but I think it was o.k. The main issue bringing back to this design was the amount of text. In my newer layouts, I try to keep the image a bigger focus. So... less room for text. My older design was more geared for a lot more text, so it just worked better here.

But as Dee and Steffi both offered some suggestions, I figured I should give them a try and see what came of it. Before I show you any of them, I should mention that none of them are finished products. I can't call them that, as I am not happy with how the turned out.

First up is really just making the original design a more finished and slick product. I followed the color scheme and background I used in the final submitted version.

I tried to take Steffi's suggestion of making the text boxes less opaque, so that you could see the image behind them. But he problem is the image behind the is really kind of busy. Lots of lines (books, shelves, the Hennessy box...) that distract from the text. By the time I got the background opaque enough that they didn't distract, you could barely see through them at all. And that in itself was distracting... kind of a voice in the back of my head saying 'what the hell is that behind the text'.

Now as you can see I did add some to the story, so that the text matched up on both sides. Thats important to me, as this design is just screaming 'balance'. That is why the title is centered and evenly spaced, and why my watermark is the same. But I don't really like this type of even balance.

I did try to work on making the text smaller, but I try to always make the text very legible. And I could only make this text a little smaller before I found myself squinting to read it. And that slight decrease in size didn't help me move anything around, so I didn't bother working farther in that direction.

Instead I completely ignored the text, and designed it up like I would like to see it:

I like this design. The balance is a lot better, but still not perfect. But the problem with this one lies in the image. The upper right hand corner is just so empty. and of course, I only have half the story. That is obviously a deal breaker.

So next, I focused in on Dee's suggestion. Flipping the image around and making the text boxes diagonal. This one took quite a bit more time than the others, as the path I had to draw for the text was a little more complicated than a square or rectangle.

I think this is visually more interesting than my first swing, but it still has the same problem. To much text. And now this opens up some bigger empty spaces, primarily the upper left corner.

I still think the finished product I presented in the previous post is still the best one. But it was fun to get in and really show some different ways to present this.

Devious Wicked Plots

Those Bastards!

I'm sure this idea has been done before, but I think its my first swing at it. My initial thought was what if you combined my TG fantasies, with my idealized real world? My TG fantasy of being forcibly feminized, and having to live through humiliation after humiliation, and my idealized world where everyone tries their best to accept everyone as they are.

This is obviously outside of my wheelhouse, as I don't often use such overt humor. But even if no one else gets a kick out of this, I just kept sending myself into a giggle fit as I wrote 'Master Lawrence and Mistress Deborahs' parts.

Design wise, I was in a bit of a conundrum. I quickly found and fell in love with this image. And the story only took about 10-20 minutes to write. But I had two very distinct areas of the story to work with. I wanted to make sure everyone read Caitlyn's part first. Not just because its the first part of the story, but it should lead people (especially those that regularly read my caps) into thinking that this is a regular cap for me.

But the image doesn't really lend itself to this split style. I didn't crop this image at all, and her face is off center, leaving less room on one side. I honestly didn't want to have Caitlyn's text so close, but having the text box longer (and therefore thinner.. farther from her face) didn't look right. As is, it bothers me that the text boxes for Caitlyn, and her devious owners are different widths. But its a compromise I'm willing to live with, as I think it lays the story out the way I want it.

Chauvinistic

If it wasn't for chauvinistic bosses, sissy secretaries would be out of work!

I felt I was on a roll after making "Politically Advantageous" so I went right out and started another cap. When I found this image, I knew I had to use it, and the gist of the story came right away. But when I started writing, all sort of little details started coming in. Now its been awhile since I wrote a longer story, so I figured I would just keep writing and see how it turned out.

And beyond a few minor edits, this is what I wrote. The problem being, that this much story doesn't fit into my 'new' layout. I did try a few methods... but this is the 'best' that I came up with (understand, this was by no means 'finished'. I would have worked on the colors, and background some more):

Now the text being uneven didn't bother me. I new it would only take a little tweaking or adding to get them even. But the double column just didn't work for me. I don't really know why. Maybe because the entire cap would be 'even' but the image wasn't. Or that I would have the title centered and above the pic... I don't know. I just didn't like where it was going. I could have deleted some of the story, and made it fit into a larger box on the left, and a smaller box on the right... but I honestly didn't see any part of the story I was willing to give up. I think each part build upon the last, and taking some out would reduce more than the space the text takes up.

So... without a clever idea, I just stepped back and used my old format. I did put quite a bit more text under the image than I normally do, but I think having the entire quote at the end made it work better.

Politically Advantageous

Damn politicians!

So last night I had a bit of a headache. I didn't feel like I could concentrate enough to make a cap, but it was on my mind. So to distract myself I went to the ol' boob toob hoping to catch something good. Sadly, there was nothing on that interested me at all. Going through the On Demand menu I found a show that I had always intended to watch, but never got the chance... Boss. Its about the mayor of Chicago played by Kelsey Gramer. And of course if you are thinking... Hmm... Mayor of Chicago.. corruption... then you are on the right track.

One of the interesting story lines was him giving a video to the Governor of his political opponent beating a man while he was in college. When the governor put the video out, and commented on how dispicable it was, the opponent (fully supported by the Mayor of course) had a press conference showing that he wasn't beating the man, but trying to save him. He even had the man in the audience.

The thought of that type of political manipulation and corruption got me thinking of that idea in a cap.

So today when I finally felt up to it, I made this little gem. It's not my best, but I like how it turned out. I can imagine a second part of the story, and might even make it... but I would need some specific images to make it work.

The Girl with the Pretty Tattoos!

Hows that for a 'wall of text' cap?

So long as I'm in a capping mood, I'm just going to keep riding this wave. With that in mind, I went over to the Haven to find someone to cap for. My eyes first caught on Cortney. I've made a few for her, but don't feel like I've ever done a really good one for her. But when looking around I didn't find any image that gave me an idea for her.

Oddly enough, this image showed up when searching for 'Silly Sexy Girl'.

I don't know about silly, but it is certainly a sexy girl. I just didn't feel it was right for Courtney. But Dee.... yea, this would be right up her alley. I had already planned on capping Dee, but I wanted it to be a little more 'outside' the box, or creative.

I began writing, figuring something would come up to spice up the design. But as I wrote, I realized I was writing in my longer story format. and Dee is more of a fan of the quick hit. But the problem with the 'quick hit' style of capping is that the words are kept to a minimum. And this layout just didn't work with that. It would fit a nice wordy story great... but if I kept the sentences shorter, it would leave a ton of empty space.

After a few failed attempts, I just started writing a quick back and forth. What came out was exactly what is in the cap. But looking at it in word, then looking at the image.... well I just didn't think it would work. On a lark, I copied the story into Photoshop, and tried to shoehorn it in. I had to have a big font, but when it got big enough, I didn't have space. I tried to select all the text to get a different size, but evidently missed, and only selected a couple words... so when I changed the font size they were huge compared to everything else.

Mm.. that immediately brought to mind the cap I made for the Haven Quarterly (and no... you still can't see it, unless you buy the eZine!). It used a similar layout for the text. So I spent the next hour or so putting the text in piece by piece. Oddly enough after about 10 minutes I found that it was easier to fill in the text starting at the bottom, and then working my way back up. That way I could place each part of the conversation in just the right way.

I'm fairly happy with this. The story is a little... meh. And the design isn't really anything to write home about... but when it all comes together, I think it works pretty good!

Lovers Revenge

Damn that Facebook!

So I have another trade cap. This one is for Steffimarie who has a couple wonderful blogs of her own entitled Steffimariechen's Forced Femme/TG Captions and Steffimariechen's Naughty Bits. If you haven't already, then you should really head over to both blogs and check out her work. I followed her older blog for a long time, and was really kind of sad when it was pulled down. But thankfully she is back.

Steffi, like myself enjoys not only male to female captions, but male to shemale, and male to sissy. Mmm... Sissy Caps. So it was pretty easy to write a story that I found interesting. The hard part, is finding the right 'sissy' picture. I generally perfer my 'sissys' to be more clothed than the image I used here, that way I can talk about their padded bras, or breast forms. But Steffi does like hormones as well as surgery. So while I don't spell it out in the cap, I figure that the hormone treatment got Ron started on his breast development, and then a surgery to finish it off. I would have added that in a more direct way, but I felt it kept getting in the way of the story.

Instead I focused on how Coleen got Ron to do this (vising Rachel's Haven), and what she was going to do with Patrick.

Now to be honest, I started this morning with the thought of capping someone new (yea, I haven't capped Steffi before, but I've followed her blog and caps long enough that I don't consider her 'new'). So I went to the Haven and looked up the newest member to get a trading folder. But the preferences just sent me for a loop... her biggest buttons were Asian and Pregnant. And she also liked mental manipulation to the point that it is practically a new person. I have nothing against Asians, but I don't personally like pregnant caps, and I don't enjoy that big of a mental manipulation. As you know, I like humiliation, and I feel that if you have that much of a mental change, then there really isn't any humiliation to enjoy.

I did try though... I found some interesting pics of pregnant women, but I just couldn't get my heart into it. Instead of forging ahead, I dropped what I was doing and went to someone who shared some of my preferences.

Lyrics are fun to work with!

I think it was about a year ago when I was listening to my music and came across 'Sweet Pea' by Tommy Roe. If you don't know the song, here is a video for it:

When I heard it, all I thought of was somebody's post to Petra at the Haven, as they started it with 'Sweet Pea' instead of Petra. I thought the song as funny enough lyrics that it would match up nicely with a cap:

So I went ahead and started a cap. But a problem quickly came up... what image to use? If this was a cap for Petra (and really... who else could it be for?), then it really needed to be a redhead. But the only thing I could think of was using the theme of peas. You know.. the vegetable. Well after a long search, I didn't find a single image that I though would work for it.

Time passed, and I would occasional hear that song pop up. Each time I would give more thought to a Sweet Petra cap, but I couldn't get over the image hump. If only the lyrics has more detail. One time (I think this was about Mid Summer), I got the idea of re-writing the lyrics. Making it a much more overt TG theme. I liked the idea, but I was in my creative slump at the time, and I couldn't get any actual traction out of the idea.

Fast forward a few more months, and we come to this morning. I was in a creative mood, and I had just opened up myself for caps at the Haven. I figured if I was opening myself up, I should go ahead and use this creative time to create a cap for someone else. And what better way to use this happy time to make a fun/funny cap for Petra using this now almost year old idea.

So I put the song on repeat, pulled up the lyrics and started messing around. I took it line by line trying to get it to flow right... and yes, I was singing in a quiet voice for a couple hours 'Oh, Peter, Come on and change for me'. It wasn't easy... but it wasn't really that hard. I think something that made it easy is that I started with the premise that I couldn't tell a whole story using this method. And I was fine with that. Really, beyond the chorus, this song only has three verses. So.... want to change Peter, change Peter into Sweet Pea, and finally take advantage of Sweet Pea. It had to be that simple.

Most of the lines will match up syllable to syllable with the original song (Hence me using 'Peter', instead of Petra's preferred 'Pete'... I needed another syllable). There are a few lines that don't match up perfectly, but I tried to at least use the beat of the song, to keep it sing worthy.

Design wise... well I just accepted in the beginning that I wouldn't be able to really work the photo and the lyrics together all that well. Thankfully I found this image with the beautiful redhead wearing green. Peas are green right?

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I wanted to make a quick 'Merry Christmas' post, but didn't want to do it without a cap. Unfortunately I only have one 'Christmas' cap, and I posted it awhile back. So... I made a new quick one. I know I fell into one of the things I complain about.... I used a picture that really has nothing to do with the story, but I just loved her smile. And as rarely as I make caps where the girl ends up happy, I figured I just had to use this now.

But enough about the cap, and on to the post.

I often find it difficult to openly talk about my feelings. Sure, I can wax poetically about ME, but when I want to express how I feel about someone else... well it doesn't come out easily. But I am going to give it a try here. You see, this message goes out to so many different people. Jennifer, Dee, Smitty, Bren, Petra, Steffi, Realfield, Rachel, Shysteffie, Samantha, Mistress Simone, Sasha, Candy, Rauk, sp2000, Rebecca, Martha, Angel, and so many more. You are the people that inspire me. And I owe you all a sincere Thank You. You see, I wasn't truly Caitlyn before I met you.

Oh sure, I had the desires, but I fought them off. They were at best 'bad' and at worst 'deviant'. I couldn't embrace these feelings and desires, let alone live them. But now... Caitlyn is a much a part of me as anything else. And I owe it all to you.

You inspire me to explore my feelings. You encourage me to continue on when I feel I'm tapped out. You're a shoulder to cry on when the world seems to push me down, and you are someone to celebrate with when the world gives me joy. Smitty's The Intiation

Smitty has a new project that you need to see
Do you remember those 'Choose your fate' books, where you would read a few pages that would end with something like "To go into the cave go to page 124. To go around the cave go to page 423"? Well Smitty has made just such an adventure. It has taken him quite some time to write this out, and it is epic in scale. There are at least 19 different endings!

OK... it might be more than a day!

Another fun quicky. Nothing really to say about the cap itself, but I have noticed that I tend to get a lot more traffic when I write a dirty cap. Not that I write many 'clean' caps... but the dirtier, the more pageviews. And if I combine a dirty cap, with a dirty pic, then that number grows even more. For example, I would bet money that I would get even more pageviews, if her mouth were ON the cock.

So I guess you could say that I'm running a little experiment. Not only am I writing up these quick caps, I'm also looking at what 'works'. And I don't really mind being pigeonholed as a dirty cap maker. Suits me fine. It doesn't mean that I won't make a nice sweet loving cap when I feel the urge, it just means I know that it won't go over as well.

Making it Right

How would you make it right?

Another quicky. Oddly enough, I started writing this one with an more loving feel. Ed was the woman, and she worked hard to replace Calvin's wife to make it up to him. But when I got to the last part of the story in my head, it just didn't have any oomph. I don't think many lovey stories have a lot of oomph, but they should at least end with a good old fashioned 'awwww, ain't that sweet!?' feeling. And I just didn't get it from what I wrote.

I briefly considered writing out a longer story, to get the reader more emotionally involved with Ed's plight, but then I would probably not have been able to use this design form. And then that dark side of my mind took over.... what if that wasn't Ed? What if Ed did all of that TO Calvin. Mmmm... that throws some squirm factor. So a quick edit on the last quote, and then taking out any clue as to who was going through the transition, and I had this story.

Now it has oomph. And a little squirm factor to boot.

Never trust a desperate woman!

Another quicky. To be honest, I'm really just avoiding taking a long test, and felt the vague stirrings of a cap within me.

I like the story I wrote for this, but it seems to be just a little long for the cap. I didn't see anything that I wanted to get rid of though, as a lot of the intro was to set up the emotional impact of the ending. But all that text takes up a lot of space. I don't mind covering up the empty spots in the picture, but to make it even I had to make the title rather large. And I end up with a very small 'picture'.

Would you take care of him?

Just another idea for a quickie. Oddly enough this started out as a completely different idea. I had a vague idea of a man getting in debt to someone, and paying it off as his maid. He would reduce his sentence periodically by working to make himself more effeminate, and even more sexually appealing. So he would wear the dress for a month's reduction. Wear makeup and do his hair for 6 months off. Get breast implants for a year off.... stuff like that.

The picture would be of a sexy maid kneeling in between a man's legs, holding his cock (see how this image came up!?), with the final proposal of the remainder of his time as a maid in trade for a blow job. The tag line would be something like, 'o.k... but can I stay your maid anyway?'

Well that was my idea. It was vague enough that I could pull details from whatever image I wanted, I just had to have a woman kneeling between a man's legs, preferably with her hands on his cock, and preferably in a maids outfit. I picked this image for it, thinking I could slide in something about getting some more time removed by working nude (which would be funny after agreeing to the maid outfit!).

But when I started writing, it just didn't come together. I wrote and wrote and wrote, figuring I could always edit it down and tighten it up, but really after reading it, I just tossed it out. It was a page and a half of crap. Instead of starting over, I started in this new direction. The main thing I wanted to set up in the story was a sense of guilt. The transformed person would feel so indebted to this guy that he would be willing to do almost anything.

I don't think I quite captured that, but I'm pretty happy with the story.

Well... no, that's a lie. I'm not happy with it, but I'm just done writing. I think it works well enough, and I want to be done. Instead of just trashing several hours worth of work, I put it into this design and called it done.

Alectra and Raffside ride again!

So this cap came about from many smaller factors. First, when I made "Virtual Heaven and Hell", Alectra commented that she liked it, and would like something similar for herself (see what commenting can get you!?). I had already agreed mentally to make her one, when she also made me a cap on the Haven. That really sealed the deal, as I now owed her a return cap.

So a few weeks ago I started searching for an image. To use this effect, I wanted to mimic what I did in "Virtual Heaven and Hell"... in other words have two bodies in it. I know that Alectra just goes ga-ga over latex, particularly latex stockings so that is what I searched for. But honestly I didn't find an image of two women wearing latex stockings that struck a cord with me. I don't know how this image came up in my search, but the Google gods smiled on me, as I fell in love with the image. It would be a royal pain to cut out each woman, as they were so intertwined, but I knew that if I could do it, the effect would be really stunning. So I grabbed it and started manipulating it. Here is what the original looked like:

I didn't get it done in one sitting. So to be honest, the idea that I originally had just didn't click any more (it was something to do with Raffside submitting to Alectra, but it would be all in their head... I don't know how I thought I could pull that off, but it was the original idea). So when I did finally finish getting the two girls colored individually, I was left with an interesting image, but no direct spark for a story.

I went back and looked at what I had written for Alectra before. And after reading the 'Dominated' trilogy (found here, here and here), I considered continuing the story of poor ole Pablo, Alectra, Raffside and The Technologist. And while I honestly figured I could make a good, funny, sexy cap with that, I didn't feel that these images would fit very well into that previous design. And that complex of a story wouldn't fit well in my new design. As I am still more or less 'over' with that design style, I decided that continuing the Dominated story wasn't the right way to go here.

So I just started from a blank slate. I looked at the images and decided that Alectra was on the bottom. I normally assume the 'bottom' is the sub, but the way her legs and holding the other girl, and her arms pulling her close, just had a more 'dominant' feeling to me. Plus while they both have lustful looks on their faces, the top girl just looked more submissive in doing so. So she became Raffside.

So while looking at the 'Alectra' version of the image, I wrote out a quick dialog. It is mainly intact as the 2nd and 3rd boxes. I liked it, but felt it needed a little more explanation. Hense the first box. With that written, I left it up on the screen, and tired to write out what Paul/Raffside would be thinking. At first I wrote quite a lot.. but realized that the boxes would be entirely different. So I cut and cut until I got down to what I have here. I then walked away. No more writing, no more designing.

I did that so I could take a look at both the images and the story with a clean set of eyes. When I re-read it, I liked it, but did edit a bit to make the two sides work a little better together. Then I moved on to design. I really just kind of followed what I normally do now:

But after saving it, I paused. Something just wasn't right. Now normally when I am happy with the story, and mostly happy with the design, I'll just go with it. But something was just bugging me at the back of my head. It took me awhile, but I realized what it was... all of that color was actually making the girls feel a little reversed to me. The Black and White girl (Raffside in this case) looked like she was the one talking.

Now I know that most people probably wouldn't care. But it really REALLY bothered me. Especially since I liked the layout and design. So I went back in and started twaking. After a lot of color manipulation, I finally settled on losing most of the color. The background, and the text boxes all went to black and white. It was better... but still didn't feel quite right:

Now the text boxes were... wrong. To light. So back I went... I futzed with the gradations in the text boxes, and decided that I liked them better fully opaque. But it was now actually lacking color. It DID emphasize the correct girl, but it just didn't feel right. I added the strokes around the image and the text boxes and that was better... but still not quite right. I wanted just a touch more color. That's when I decided to put Alectra/Raffside down the side of the image. I didn't want to overpower anything else, so it was almost completely see through, but it was enough to make that voice in my head happy.

After The Wave

So how much would YOU change after the Gender Wave?

I try not to ask questions when inspiration hits. I honestly thought I wasn't going to be in the mood to make caps today, but immediately after posting "Memories", inspiration struck again.

I was just going about my normal 'post cap' process. Save the final file, close Photoshop, close Word, and then close out the four or five tabs in my web browser. But as I was closing the windows, I saw this image:

And boom... I had an idea. After getting transformed, a guynowgal reflects on how life hasn't changed all that much. Including having his/her lovers go down on him/her. I shrugged, re opened up all the programs, and started writing. But I quickly realized that while the image was good for inspiring the story, it wasn't quite right. The looks on the models faces wasn't what I wanted, and she seemed almost... I don't know... bored?

So before I started putting details in the story, I went and searched for a different image. My first grab was this:

I liked it better for several reasons. One it was vertical, and I honestly prefer vertical images. Two, the look on her face didn't make me feel like she would rather be reading a good book. But after writing a bit I found some faults as well. Its a nice pose, but the guy looks like he is in as much control as the girl, and that didn't match where the story was going. It also has a more 'amature' look to it, and I would rather have a professional look to the photo. So... back to looking for THE image.

Thankfully I found the image I used. It was perfect. Her face told a tale of lust and power, it was vertical, interestingly lit, and it had a wonderful perspective to it. The posing of the photo helped me finish off the quickie story and even helped in the design. I know the design is very top/right heavy' but that was done on purpose. I wanted to give the viewer the sense that they were the guy kneeling before this powerfully sexy woman. You will be looking up her body to the story.

For inspiration out of nowhere, I have to say I'm really rather happy with this one. I'm fairly sure I've seen the idea elsewhere, but I think I put a good enough spin on it to make it mine.

Take a stroll down memory lane

Just a quickie today. I had an urge to make a technology cap. I considered making a 'Technologist' cap, but they are so dialog heavy, and I have a lot of homework to do. Instead I just flipped around and found this image. My first thought was to go even shorter with the story. Something like her running through the memories of her surgeries (tummy tuck, waist reduction, breast, hip and ass implants, hair extensions, shaving her adam's apple, facial reconstruction, shortening her Achilles tendons...) and then ending it with her positioning herself on the slab and asking for more.

But that story just didn't feel right to me. I couldn't get the transition from rough memories of the surgeries, to the desire of her wanting to stay. So I took some of the ideas and wrote this up.

To be honest, I was just finishing up with some work for a cap I'm making for Alectra. I had an image that I was playing around with color options, and went back to the web, so I could save an original version. Out of curiosity, I clicked through to see what website it came from, and found myself on a blog titled Sexuelle. Specifically a page from September 2010. I didn't even scroll down that far when I found this image... and BOOM, I had a quick cap written in my head. It wasn't new, it wasn't original, but it would certainly be fun for those that share my personal kings (and yes, that's why I used Jeremy/Jennifer... she shares my kinks!).

The only problem I had was the image itself. It was fairly small. Here is the original image:

Its only 653x481 pixels. I generally prefer my images to start out at over 1000 pixels wide. I can then shrink it down if needed, as that doesn't hurt the quality all that much. But blowing up an image to almost twice its size... hmm...

If you blow up to the full size, you can see how much pixelation was added to make this 1000 pixels wide. It honestly is just unacceptable to me. But this image just SANG to me, and I didn't want to even attempt to look for another one. So I had two options. Just use the smaller one, even though it wasn't the best of quality, or try out some filters in Photoshop and see if I could clean it up some.

I went with the second option, giving myself 20 minutes. If I didn't have a satisfactory result in that time, I would revert to option 1, and just make a small cap.

It turns out I needed all of 2 minutes. My first thought was to blur the image. Just enough so that the pixelation wouldn't be quite noticeable. Now normally I use the 'Gaussian' Blur option in Photoshop. It gives a very nice 'out of focus' look. Great for most of the time, but it isn't the effect I wanted here. Out of the other options I tried the 'Surface' Blur. I tired it on the default settings just to see what it would do, and.. well I'll let it speak for itself:

As you can see, its not perfect. Around her head and hands, it still is a little pixelated. But I knew the focus of most people would be on her panties, thighs and ass. And that area looked damn good to me. Once the image was clean, the rest went lickity split!

Opportunity Knocks

What would you do to live out your dream?

Not to much to say about this one. I just wanted to make a cap, but didn't have any overriding theme to follow. Nor was I feeling particularly creative. Just... you know.. in the mood.

I know I owe Alectra one, but I didn't feel that this mood was going to get me through a good cap. And in the end, I believe I'm right. This is o.k... fairly fun bubble gum style capping. But for a friend I would want something better. Both image wise, and story wise. Plus I already have an idea for Alectra, but it still needs some time to percolate.

I only had a few things that I struggled with at all. One was cutting down on the story in little bits to make it fit better. One was differentiating between the voices (font? font color? box color?...). And last was getting the short director's box to match up visually with 'Tonys' last dialoge box. I didn't want to add dialog to the director, but it just felt wrong being so small.

I'm happy with the idea of adding the 'Later That Day' bit the way I did. I'll tell you though, I am NOT happy with the colored text boxes. It was simply the best of all the bad options I presented myself with. The only way that would work is to re-write the story as one big piece, and adding things like 'Tony said', and 'Calvin said'. But that doesn't split well, and I wanted this to be all dialog,

Math was never my strong suit

This cap came about fairly easily. Once I saw that Candy was up next on my list, I knew I could go dirty, and funny all at the same time. Like me, she also likes a good old fashioned 'revenge gone wrong'. She also really likes cum shots and facials, so I started looking around for an image that would fit into that.

I have to admit, I just didn't find much that sparked a story in me. Of course no matter how good your search terms are in Google Images, you find images that you didn't expect. And the above image is one of them. I love the image, but nothing about it says 'classy cum shot', which is what I was looking for.

But it did spark a story. The look on her face, while being bent over just screamed 'oh shit' to me. And it felt like a good 'revenge gone wrong'. But I felt that I had done a lot of those styles... and my mind kept making a much larger story. I especially focused on what happened AFTER the revenge went wrong. And that is where this story came into place. I don't really know where the 'percentages' came in, but I liked the idea of throwing down one side a list of everything that went right, and then everything that went wrong. Design wise, I like how this turned out. I feel it uses up a lot of the empty space. About the only 'issue' I have with it, is the empty space in the bottom center. I just couldn't think of anything to put there that felt it went with both the story, and the design.

Anniversary

Its time to celebrate!
On November 28, 2010 I planted my flag in this wonderfully diverse TG caption blog landscape. I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for the wonderful ride this blog has become for me, and to look back at the year.

Over the past 365 days I've made 191 posts. The majority of these were early, as I posted all of my old caps by February 27, 2011. Those 191 posts have generated a whopping 534 comments!

I'd like to go over some stats, but I guess I should explain the data gathering process first. As this blog is hosted on blogger, I utilize their build in stats. While the data they provide is good, it is also rather limited. For example, they give me page views, but not visitors. I can look at the number of page views for 'Now' (the two previous hours), "Day' (the last 24 hours), 'Week', 'Month' and 'All Time'. But I can't look back at how many page views I received in a particular week or day, although in the 'All Time' view I can see totals for the previous months. For any of these time frames I can look at the page views for particular posts, but it only gives me the top 10 posts.

With these limitations I quickly decided that I wanted more detailed stats. I think it was Sasha that pointed me to Google Analytics (heh... anal), and on December 14, 2010 I added it to my site. Google Analytics gives a lot more information. First and foremost, it gives me visitors. Page views are nice, and I still track them, but I think visitors is a more meaningful data point. One person can generate a lot of page views all by them self giving a false sense of activity.

After making a quick change in late January so that I could count views to pages a little better (making visitors click into the post before viewing the full size cap) I finally got some good results. So for my own amusement here are the stats so far:

Blogger shows that I have had 914,871 page views, while Google shows 1,231,220 page views from 256,561 visits. And that is from 139,300 different visitors.

And that leaves 2% that find their way here via search engines. That number would be a lot smaller, but I get found on a lot of variations of 'Bubble Butt' from my "[Question] Bubble butt or breasts?" post.

Those numbers feel right to me, as I don't set up this blog to be found on search engines. I'm fairly sure that if I just changed the name (and URL) to Caitlyn's TG Masks I would get a lot more visitors though search. As is I only have received 11 visits that found me by searching for 'tg captions' (compared to 747 visits from 'bubble butt').

But no matter how you got here, I appreciate everyone stopping by. I wish I had some champagne to celebrate with. But since I don't have that, I'll give an anniversary cap.

Maybe Win-Win-Win would be a better title?

So after making the cap for Jennifer's Birthday "What Day is your Birthday?" I was still in a capping mood. As I mentioned previously, I do have a bit of cap debt, so I went to the Haven to see who was next up in line. Turns out Victoria Hyde was next.

When I looked over Victoria's preferences though, I had to pause and give it some thought. Much like Mistress Simone, Victoria prefers to be changed not only into a woman... but a strong dominant woman. I'm sure as you can tell, I really like the opposite... being changed into a meek submissive 'girl'. As such, my thoughts don't naturally go in this direction.

But that's the fun part in making a cap for someone else. You have to work within their preferences, and sometimes that means stretching past your own boundaries. With some, I can kind of stretch the story, and leave room for a more submissive undertone. But with a this kind of preference, there is no room for that.

So I read a little further to see if there was something more in Victoria's preferences that I could build around. My eyes were immediately drawn to several points: magic (especially dark magic/witchcraft/demonic influence), Corrupted into evil and wickedness!, and transformed into demoness.

I thought of a normal every day TG artist that experiments with some cross dressing. But I wanted to ratchet up the dominant side... so why not have this TG artist LIKE being possessed by the demon? In fact they work together to enslave more men into submissive girls.

With that idea I wandered over to Google Images and searched for "Sexy PVC corset". I found a lot of images, but the women were all alone in the picture. As Victoria doesn't like seeing male genitalia in her pics, I added 'lesbian' to the search. Mmmm... there were a lot of images to choose from (including two caps from Mistress Simone!). I was actually drawn to this one from another image in the same series (sadly I didn't save it). It was the submissive kneeling before 'Victoria' about to suck on her strap on. Very sexy, but it seemed a little to close to showing male genitalia. But when I clicked through and found the whole set, I found the little gem I used here.

I had two stories come to mind... and they would play well with different designs. The first was of Victoria telling her new slave how she came to be the woman she is now. How the demon possessed her, and how they now work together to enslave new girls. The other story idea was just Victoria talking to her new slave in shorter sentences... stuff like 'you like my strap on now don't you', 'oh look at your pretty breasts growing', and 'Your former life belongs to my demon, but the new you belongs to me'.

The first idea would work well with my new standard design. The second would work well in the style of "The Hard Part" with the text written right over the picture. The problem is that neither seemed to tell the whole story I had in mind. Writing out the shorter sentences would be easier to design so I started with that. After 15 minutes or so though, I had to give it up. There really just wasn't the space to make it work well. And really, the picture just didn't lend itself to the design.

I then went into Word and wrote out the story I have in the final version (in the text boxes) more or less. I did a variation on this design with the boxes, and it it was nice. But the story really didn't seem to go with the picture. I was left wondering why this particular picture was even used.

Then it hit me... why not do both? I don't have to be so heavy handed in either part, and can let the two story styles work together. The only design issue that came up was that I didn't have much space to write on the actuall image. The text boxes were just getting in the way. I swear, I actually smiled while playing around and tilted the image. It was almost an homage to my previous style. It lets me nod my head at tilting images like I used to, write on the image, and use the new text box format. That is a Win Win in my book!

And yes... I actually thought 'Win Win' to myself. That's how the cap got its title. I only had to add a single line to the story to make the title fit. I wish I would have saved some of the previous work files, but I just kept playing around (without saving) so much that I couldn't move back to what I had.

Happy Birthday Jennifer!

I am just awful at remembering birthdays. It probably comes form the fact that I really don't like my own birthday. I mean sure, I like to take a day to reflect on what I've done in the past year, and what I can look forward to in the next year. But I have long since past the time that I care how old I am.

So while chatting with Jennifer the other day, she said she was spending the day with her family and wouldn't be on that much. She let it slip that they were celebrating her birthday. *facepalm*

I may not like my birthday, but I do like to celebrate other's birthdays. Sadly I was just swamped that day, and not in a capping mood. Sure I probably could have whipped something up, but it wouldn't have been very good. And really, I don't want to give a 'meh' cap to a good friend on her birthday. Thankfully this morning, I was in a capping mood.

So making a cap for Jennifer, is like making a cap for me. She likes dirty just like I do. And if it involves sucking cock... yea.. Jennifer is a dirty girl! I figured I would throw some real life in, and add in the fact that I had forgot her birthday too.

The basic idea I had was that while away I got Jennifer the gift of being in a sexy woman's body. She would be fine so long as I transformed her back before her birthday. Now I just needed an image for the moment that 'I' find 'Jennifer'. Originaly I was looking for a cumshot. The way it worked in my head was that while 'I' was out, Jennifer changed and became a 'cum loving cock slut', and invited another friend over.

But when searching I came across the image used here. As it wasn't a cum shot, I skipped past it, but came back after a bit loving the look of longing on her face. It didn't take much to change the story to fit the image.

Never stop Learning!

As I mentioned in "Getting Noticed" I had just recently remembered that I owed some caps. I surprised myself by feeling a little cappy today, even after making three caps yesterday. So I went right over to JPL Debi's preferences on the Haven. Once I read them, I remembered really liking both her caps, and the caps made for her. One of her overlying preferences is to be transformed by her wife into a daughter. Now that's normally not my cup of tea, but I still found myself drawn into the action.

So I glanced over her preferences, and then went searching for a sexy image of a younger girl. Someone who could still be thought of a daughter, without getting the police involved due to her age. I wanted someting XXX as Debi likes that too. I found a few that might work (and still might go make caps for them), but this one kept sticking out to me. Something about it was more erotic than all the other naked sex having girls I was viewing. It was just.... Lewd.

And I Love Lewd!

So I pulled it into photoshop. I looked at it for about 20 seconds when the idea came to me of Debi's new 'Step Father' walked in to see her giving the bottle a blow job. It was easy as pie to walk it back and discuss Debi's condition a bit, and follow it up with a desire from her mother to get her pregnant.

Its not the most explicit cap I've made, but I still like it. And like most of Debi's caps (for and by) it catches my interest and holds on.

Beware who you help out!

I'm not going to say much about this cap. I worked on an off with this for awhile, but it never really seemed 'good' to me. The story started out a bit longer, but it felt a little heavy. So upon a recommendation, I trimmed it down and down and down. At one point I had it about half this length, but when I read it with fresh eyes, it felt too barren. So I this is the happy (or unhappy as the case may be) medium I came up with.

I played around quite a bit with the image itself (all color, all b&w, and so many mixtures in between that I forgot most of them), with the layout (bigger text, smaller text, moving the boxes around, changing the background image...) and as I said before I played with the story itself.

But no matter what I did, it didn't feel right. The minute I decided to let it lie for awhile, I created three caps. All of them came to me easily, and all of which I am far happier with. So I have chosen the low road, and am ready to call this done.

Getting Noticed

Getting noticed isn't always a good thing!

Something funny happened. Just as I posted the last two caps, I headed on over to the Haven to put them up in the Gallery there. I hadn't been by the Haven in a while, so I just double checked any new replies to my posts. There weren't any, but when I looked at the Trading Gallery I noticed my named bolded.

Someone had made me a cap.

I wandered in to find not only did one person make me a cap... but two people. Both Victoria Hyde and Candy. made me a cap. Now I love caps, but I didn't expect them as I had requested people NOT make me caps. That way I am free to explore and create as fast as I can, instead of getting bogged down in peoples preferences.

So I went to add them to my list of 'people I owe caps to' and saw... damn it... I also owed caps to Dee and JPL. Now the reason I was a little upset at myself is that I just made two caps that really didn't fit these people. I should have used this spark of inspiration to whip out at least one for Dee, and maybe even one for JPL.

When I gave it some thought, I realized I was still in a cappy mood. Now I've made enough caps for Dee that I don't have to scour her preferences, but I double checked them anyway. I also checked out her 'pics to be capped', but didn't get any inspiration from them.

So I went a looking. I figured I would want to make something tongue in cheek, as she had made me a funny cap last. So I searched Google Images for 'sexy tongue in cheek'. Surprisingly enough it came up with some good images. One of them caught my eye as it was an obvious model shoot (and I'm not talking pron modeling.. I'm talking Paris Runway Vogue Magazine model. I clicked through to the site and found some great images. A couple of them whispered to me, so I was copying them, and pasting them into Photoshop.

One of these were the image of the two girls used in the second panel here. I didn't have a great idea, but I was thinking of a friend that tried to get even with Damien, while Damien also got even with him. But as I searched I came across the pic of the men in the first panel. I normally don't worry about showing what the 'men' in my caps look like... but I recognized that pose, and saw that it was very similar to the pose used in the 2nd panel.

It hit me out of nowhere. I know Dee loves music and if I remember it right, I think she has musical talent as well. When I looked at the picture of the guys, it looked like a band poster to me. I almost expected it to have a bar name and dates on the bottom of it. But what if Damien wasn't satisfied when that image was taken? What if he demanded the photographer do it over and make it guarantee results!?

The idea was born. I fiddled with it quite a bit as I wanted the story to cover to panels. And while I was in a cappy mood, I had also been sitting at the computer all day. I wasn't sure how much longer the mood would last, so I didn't give the design a ton of original thought. I went with the new box layout (which I'm getting quite fast at now), and went to town. The images were the same size (actually a couple pixels off on height), so I lined up the text boxes and the title to match both at the same time.

I put in the text, grabbed a back ground image (its just a close up of a wall), messed with the contrast of the background image, and boom. Done.

Is it my best? No. Its it even in the top three I've made for Dee? Nope. But I like it. And since there was room for Dee's bandmate, I looked over at my IM software and saw greatgooglymoogly online. I have her listed as Nick/Daphne as I will use both names depending on he type of conversation we're having.

I got inspired again. Yes... this i just about an hour after my last post, and no this isn't the cap I talked about. When I made "Virtual Heaven and Hell" I had stumbled upon a great thumbnail gallery from 'The Art of Blowjob". Yes.. the name alone caught my attention! I started flicking through the photos, and found this wonderful image. I had a quick idea of a guy betting he could do his girlfriends job of providing a 'proper' tea service.

Obviously this is a quicky. I wanted to put out a quick story, and a quick design. I just cropped the image down, made a radial gradient selection, desaturated most of the image, put in the quick story with a quick box behind it, and put in the title.

Virtual Heaven and Hell

Oh if only they could make VR like this!

Sorry for the long delay in new caps. I just haven't been feeling it lately. I did start a cap about a week ago, but didn't finish it in the first try. When I went back to it, I edited down the story and threw it into a design, but it just didn't feel right. I might post it later, but I'm going to take another swing at it and see if I can make it better.

Today I looked at, and when I decided it wasn't ready for prime time, I went looking for another image. I really didn't think I would find one to cap, but I came across an image that just blew my socks off (pun not intended... but enjoyed):

I really had no idea of what I was going to do with the image, but I decided to just throw it in Photoshop and play around a bit. I cropped it down to the real action (focusing it more on the girl), then pulled the color out. But it didn't really click. I re-colored in her hair and lips, but it still didn't move me. Just playing around I tried something a little different. Instead of making it black and white and then recoloring the image, I made a copy of the image in black and white, and then deleted out the part I wanted in color. That left a whole that the original color image show through.

And now it clicked! I really don't know where, but I got the feeling that she was in a virtual world. The color part is her, while all the black and white is the virtual world. Including the man she is worshiping. I figured a man tried out a virtual simulator and got stuck in the girl he wanted to fuck, and now had to live out the story.

My initial idea was to present it like "The Hard Part" with the words just overlaying the image. Little snippets started forming like 'Eww I can taste him" "I can't move!" and "I wanted to fuck this girl... not BE her". But one snippet was "Thank God Jeremy isn't here... I would hate to have him see me like this" And that got the old wheels turning. What if Jeremy WAS there. And the computer let 'Calvin' see him as black and white. Hey... What if I also wrote up Jeremy's part!

A couple problems I would have to overcome. First I would need to do the same 'erasing' to get Jeremy in color and Calvin in black and white. Second I would have to directly explain that the black and white is the virtual world, so that the readers could see the 'error' in the program. With that much story telling, I couldn't just put the text over the picture. I would need a little more structure than that would allow.

I went back to my new style and figured I could still put the story in its own blocks. The only other element I needed then was a 'background' image. Sure, I could use the same image and just blur it out like I did in "Anything to Help", but that is exactly what I did with the previous mentioned cap. So I wanted to go at least a little different. Being a VR setting I figured some computer generated image would work. Thankfully I quickly found this:

It wasn't hard to zoom in in (eliminating the pure black portions), color it to match the image, and then line it up in the background.

Escape from D+X Institute

Going old school with a new school design.

Now I've had these photos in mind since I made "Cum Diet". When I was searching for a good 'dirty' image to use then, I came across this:

I had a few ideas for this (like 'hey, I remember using one of these'). But when I looked for more images in the set, I found many of them that would make a good old fashioned dirty cap. The only problem I had was that I could use this for a series... and I wasn't in the mood for writing out a series. So I saved a link to the images, and made "Cum Diet" instead.

Thankfully today I was both in the mood to cap, and has the time that I could spend on it. I had the images in my head for a week and a half, and I already had the bare bones of a story. And it I was right, this could be as raunchy as my favorite XXX cap: "Pool Party!". Realisticaly that type of series is nothing more than a long description of sex, and the person humiliated by it. This would be no different... A man, transformed into a shemale, was trying to escape some slave processing center. He had his friend meet him in the bathroom, but someone came in, and our hero(ine) has to act as the the slave he is supposed to be. Either that or the escape plan is up.

But I also wanted to do this in a more up to date style. And my recent style attempts are better fitted toward less text. So I would have to write this out with less words. Its there that I ran into a problem. I can normally riff an entire panel, just to set up a series. In this case I had to establish that this guy had been transformed against his will, but a company that makes sissy slaves, and that he wanted to escape. It struck me that the scenario I set up could very easily be made into my favorite roll playing site... D+X Institute.

So I decided that I would just go that way. It isn't nearly as known a universe as Spell'R'Us or the Great Shift, but I know many friends that would like to see a cap like this. At least I think they will like it.

So I started writing, and tried to drop in as many DX things as I could. Class titles, people, even places.

I don't have much else to add here... the design is obviously another variation on the one used in "Cum Diet" and "Anything to Help"
