You don't mess around with Jim

Slim got him.... but that was a long time ago!

I came across this image and had the quick idea that this old as fuck guy could get his youth and masculinity back by stealing it from unsuspecting guys... leaving them of course as sexy buxom women.  

When I went to write it, I considered just writing it from the first person's perspective of the newly made woman, but that didn't quite work.  It was hard to tell the story of 'Jim' when 'she' didn't know it.  At the time while I was trying it out that way, I named the old guy 'Jim' as a placeholder.  Of course that did leave the ending zinger as 'I shouldn't have messed with Jim'.  

One thing led to another and I came up with this story idea.  The image, while plenty big enough, had two problems.  First was the full spectrum of greys it was using.  It'd be almost impossible to make a text box work on the bottom as it would have to cover everything from almost pure black to incredibly light grey.  I didn't even try it as I knew it would be a pain.  But with the original image, there wasn't enough space for even this short of a story on the sides.  

AI to the rescue again.  Sure, I could have stretched the image out, but probably not as seamlessly as Adobe's built in Photoshop AI did.  Here's the original so you can see just how much it made (and notice how well it kept up with the gradients on the floor and the background!).

I think making it a square image worked perfectly.  It even left space on the right, with the smaller last paragraphs, for an interesting title lay out.  And all with just shades of grey.  

It's probably mostly the source image, but I really like this cap.  The guy's whole attitude matches, the woman's expression and pose expresses her pleasure and dismay, and you all know how much I love a good Black and White image.
