Redemption

We can all be redeemed.  

I was just minding my own business, doing my morning scroll through Twitter (it's still not 'X' as far as I'm concerned!), hoping to get back to writing Gamer Gurl as my migraine from yesterday seems to have gone down, when I came across this image:  

Being form Playboy you'd just expect it to be beautiful.  I was ready to scroll past when it reminded me of something.  I zoomed in, looking at her face to see if I knew the model but got nothing from it.  I tried to remember anywhere I'd seen an old boat on a beach and it hit me.  My favorite movie.  

I won't ruin it by saying (writing) the name, but if you get it, you get it.  I tried to hit a few key points and a few key lines from the movie but also tried to leave it as a good story for someone that hadn't seen it.  

I don't know if I succeeded or not, but I think it's a pretty cap and a nice story.  

Oh, and speaking of Gamer Gurl, you can read about an idea I had on my other blog (specifically in this post).  Fair warning, the post is one of my general 'update' posts so it covers a lot of random information, but the Gamer Gurl update is at the bottom.  Specifically I talk a bit about splitting the story into two directions.  And the more I think about it, the more I like it.  I might write up a full post about the idea but for now, I'm going to publish this and then get to writing!
