Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!

I hadn't intended on making a cap today, although I did want to make a 'Happy Thanksgiving' post.  But when I grabbed this image to make a title graphic... well I just couldn't help myself.  The story isn't that great, but I think it fits the festivities for today.

What I really wanted to do was wish everybody a very happy Thanksgiving and to offer my thanks to everyone that stops on by my little corner of the internet.

And while I'm in the spirit of the holiday, I'd like to list out some things that I'm thankful for.  Sure... my life isn't all lollipops and ice cream at the moment, but even when I'm feeling down and out I know that I have plenty to be thankful for:

  • I'm thankful for my family.  While I may not have tested their love with the knowledge of 'Caitlyn', I feel their love every single day.
  • I'm thankful for my friends that only know me as Calvin.  I may not visit or even talk to them all that often, but that separation doesn't dilute our friendship in the least.
  • I'm thankful for my friends that know me as Caitlyn.  I may not be around as much as I'd like and often I talk about my frustrations at life in general, but I'm thankful that you accept me however I present myself to you.
  • I'm thankful for my health.  No, I'm not the picture of a life well lived, but I know that I'm healthy enough to work, life and love.
  • I'm thankful for my creative nature.  It can be so frustrating when it doesn't follow the path that I have planned, but it's always there to keep me curious and intellectually satisfied.
  • I'm thankful for my education.  It may not have led me to a career yet, but it has me well prepared for one.
  • I'm thankful for my society.  No, we're not all loving and accepting but more and more we're opening our hearts to more than what we've been taught is 'right'.
  • Above all else, I'm thankful for all the love I've received   Whether that love comes from family, Calvin's friends, Catilyn's friends, strangers, or the dog.  Whenever I've felt down, no matter the reason, someone's love has been there to help me back up.  And for that I will be eternally grateful.

I often look at my life with a critical eye.  I can point out many things wrong with my life and errors I've made in the past and present.  I can always make a list of what's wrong with me.  But this time of year never fails to remind me just how much I really have, and how I should be thankful the year through.

So... Thank You!

  4. I know i wished you a happy thanksgiving when it was here, But I can't just post here with out saying it now.. Happy thanksgiving!

I thought it was a sweet, yet sexy caption. Favorite part, besides the grateful sissy to her Mistress, is the extra sensitive nipples bit. Made me think of that soft, fur blanket a little harder..
