The Pursuit of Perfection

It's not the destination... it's the journey!

So I was looking for an image to use for Miss Simone.  Instead of going for a more 'Mistress' styled photo I was instead focusing in on something elegant.  Something that oozed sensuality and beauty.  I found quite a few images, but the one that whispered it's story the clearest was this one.  And while I loved the idea of a wealthy man molding a poor guy into his perfect bride, I didn't really like it for Simone.  I kept flipping between this image and the others and eventually realized that if I was going to make a cap for Simone without using this image, that I'd have to get this story out of my head first.

It certainly isn't a complex story and I was able to keep it nice and short. I don't think the story would really benefit from being much longer... sure it might serve as the basis of a long story, but in cap form even doubling the story length wouldn't add to much to the feeling.

I'm actually quite happy with this one.  Maybe it's just the photo... maybe it's just the strong dominant look in his eyes when contrasted against her sweetly submissive pose... but whatever it is, I like it.  I hope you do too!

Hopefully I'll be able to make something up for Simone later as I really do have some exquisite photos to work from.  There isn't a big idea for the story yet, but I'm sure there will be.
