They said to be happy I’d have to strip away everything that
didn’t matter. So I did.
- I removed all color from my home.
- All but the most basic of furniture.
- My car.
- My phone.
- My computer.
- My tablet.
But evidently that wasn’t enough as I still couldn’t find
happiness. So I stripped away more.
- I sold all of my clothes.
- I removed all of my body hair.
- My muscle mass.
- My manhood.
And after this dismantling, what am I left with?
- Joy
- Pride
- Happiness
- The Real Me!

Control yourself
ReplyDeleteTake only what you need from it
A family of trees wanting to be haunted
Control yourself
Take only what you need from it
A family of trees wanting to be haunted
The water is warm
But it's sending me shivers
A baby is born
Crying out for attention
Memories fade
Like looking through a fogged mirror
Decisions too
Decisions are made and not bought
But I thought this wouldn't hurt a lot
I guess not
Deliciously simple and wonderful, great post!
