t Harmony

An advertisement that we all wish were true.

I had been viewing several caps from Envy Girl over on the haven, and she was doing a great job of making these advertisements set in a TG TF world.  I really like them so I went ahead and tried one for myself. I have to admit that I really liked 'tweaking' the text from the eHarmony website into this version.  The original text read:

"eHarmony is committed to helping singles find love every day, and with over 20 million registered online users, we are confident in our ability to do so. The eHarmony Compatibility Matching System® matches single women and men based on 29 Dimensions® of Compatibility for lasting and fulfilling relationships"

As you can see it was pretty easy to give the wording a transformative spin.

The pic was a little harder to find.  Originally I was going to try and find an eHarmony print ad, and use that, but none of them really spoke to me.  Instead I just searched and searched for a sexy but clean image.  I recall doing something to this in Photoshop, but to be honest, I'm not sure what I did.  It may have just been playing around, and finally deciding that the original was better than my manipulations... but I'm just not sure.

And this image comes up in a timely manner in two ways.  First I posted this on February 5, 2010.  Almost a year ago.

Second, Rachel's Haven is working on an ezine (electronic magazine?) that will feature exclusive content including caps, fashion stories, comics, and even ads similar to this.  All of the details haven't been worked out (including price and delivery dates), but it is designed to raise money for the haven.  So even if it was filled with phone book pages, it is well worth it.

  1. I don't know much about eHarmony, but I'm sure tHarmony would get LOTS of business!

WONDERFUL picture as well. Very expressive, and yet it feels very warm too!
